We love the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. Went at lunch time and it was packed and had a short waiting line. Although they have lunch specials, we knew we wanted the whole fried flounder off the regular menu. It did not disappoint. Huge flounder with baked potato and salad. Everything we have ever had at the Blow Fly... More

It's so fun when a restaurant over delivers on its reputation, and that's exactly what we experienced during our visit to BFI. The warm welcome, beautiful setting on the water, and tremendous service were all just a lead up to some of the best food of our entire trip. Be sure to get the stuffed flounder and the steak smothered... More

Actually I'm being generous with the "average" rating but "poor" seemed too strong. My husband had the gumbo and it was very good. I had the she crab soup and it was one of the worst I ever had. The beef on my husband's po boy was dry and the gravy that came with it was congealed. I had the... More

Shrimp & grits are awesome! Different than most..the grits are a fried cake...wonderful with the sauce! Tuna salad was fresh & grilled to perfection! Our tea glasses were never empty!

Really like this place. Some of the beat gumbo around. The fried crab claws were great also. Huge portions too. I shared the crab claw dinner with my wife and we had claws left over.

My recent visit to Blow-Fly was an afternoon delight, but a different experience from what I had planned. This review is based upon what actually happened, not what was intended to happen. The delight part comes from my impulsive decision to try a few onion rings. I learned that the good folks at Blow-Fly don’t subscribe to my own ideas... More

Although it is a little out of the way for tourists, the Blow-Fly Inn is well worth a slight detour off the beach road (Highway 90) or Interstate 10 if you like eating with the locals. Damaged significantly by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the "new" building is up quite a few stairs ~ and although there is no elevator, there... More

Get you a window seat overlooking the bay. Such a neat place to eat. I discovered this place years ago. Every time I'm in Gulfport I have to eat there. Great place for all ages. They have coloring sheets of a fly for the little ones.

We found this on Guy Fieri's site and we were not disappointed. Sits on a small lake, so there are pretty views. Fantastic food! Kids had the red beans and rice, I had the spicy Cajun pasta - amazing! And then free bread pudding for dessert. We left stuffed to the gills but happy! We will definitely be back!
