The restaurant wasn't anything fancy. The food was very good. The server forgot about us after we ordered our appetizers.

We just had dinner there. I am a native Ms girl and live in TX it was a super wonderful treat for me to go to this place and have a wonderful seafood platter cooked just the way I remember seafood to be cooked back home! It was just awesome! The wait was abit long...but worth it once we were... More

We arrived around 4 p.m. and ordered our food. I explained to the waitress that I needed to be gluten free. I ordered the grilled combo and the waitress came out with a plate of fried shrimp and fried oysters. It wasn't even close. My salad also had croutons on it even though I asked for it to come without... More

we got there around 3om or so, no body in the restaurant, and we had to wait to be served, not sure why, we got our iced teas fast, it took time for the waitress to get to us. we ordered the crabby fried green tomatoes, they were wonderful, nice sweet crab, could have used a little more sauce, the... Reviewed by Triple-D, serve the best Shrimp & Grits, coupled with appetizer Crab Cakes, and a She Crab Bisque that makes you want to lick the bowl! The positive reviews are absolutely correct. The food here is so refreshing good, and served in heap portions, I lost count how many shrimps were in my entree. If you seek a top-notch,... More

I am guessing that the glory days may be over and they are coasting on the name and reputation without much to back it up. In a nut-shell: Fresh, yet bland and overpriced 2 appetizers: Fried green tomatoes - 5 small pieces for $6.99 and a cup of she-crab soup with lots of cream and hardly any crab Entrees -... More

Stopped here on a road trip from Atlanta to New Orleans and soooo worth the stop! Amazing shrimp and grits!!! The sauce was incredible!!! Friendly staff too! Wish we were here in the daylight as alligators are right beside the restaurant but we couldn't see them in the dark. Highly recommend!!

I ate here March 9th 2015, 3 in our party. Walking in is a very cafeteria feeling due to the tables and chairs. Don't overdress. Casual is expected and I love casual eateries. Service is wonderful, just the right amount of attention. Felt like my old Aunt was serving me. Very sweet lady. Wine choices are very limited but that's... More

Has high hopes, but the food and service were just mediocre. To their defense there was a group of close to 40 that arrived just before us and maybe that had an overall effect on our experience. The wait staff was hustling, but fell a little short with us with some order confusion and not everything we ordered coming at... More
