Not fancy, but the view is nice and the food is good.

This restaurant has been on the bayou since the 1960's, but the current building replaced the original that Hurricane Katrina destroyed. It is a favorite of locals and enough off the beaten path that you aren't likely to accidentally stumble upon it. The food is, for the most part, standard MS... read more

Saw this restaurant on Dinner drive-Ins and Dives. Had high hope after reading the reviews. The restaurant sits right on the water. Nice views of the bay (not the Gulf). Service was good. Place was clean. I had fried pickles as an appetizer which were very good. The beading was good and the sauce was excellent. I had the blackened... More

The Seafood Platter is more than one person can eat and very good. The Hamburger Steak smothered in onions and gravy is very good. Can't wait to go back.

We arrived late ... 845PM. One table had just been cleared ... the house was full. We were immediately seated. Nice window table over the bayou. Your ice water comes with a lemon slice. I like that. I noticed an older woman sitting in the corner at the bar...she was watching everything and hand polishing and wrapping silverware. I really... More

Very busy place so be prepared to wait for a table but worth it. Servings are big, I don't think any of us finished all our food. Everyone was friendly and waitress knowledgeable about what my daughter could have that was gluten free. Can sit inside or outside. There's even an alligator in the water to keep the kids attention... More

I have returned there several times. The stuffed flounder is the best anywhere. My favorite is Seafood pasta plate. A little spicy but the abundance of different seafood makes you forget the heat. I DO like the heat and thought I would mention it for those that are a little skiddish about spice.

The food was delicious and the service was great. A very busy place but the workers are jumping to get you in. Beautiful view.

Had been wanting to stop and eat here since seeing it on the Diners...Drive-Inns and Dives show a couple years back. We ordered the onion rings and my wife had the crabcake lunch special while I had their cheesburger. All were good. We ate out on the patio overlooking the bayou. Service was friendly and efficient. And the banana pudding... More

We stopped in on the way to Mobile, Al. Love the atmosphere, everyone was very friendly. The food is great too. The fried pickles with their horseradish sauce was delish! The roast beef poboy was yummy! You can sit inside or outside, great views! Wish they still put the plastic "blow fly" on the food.
