Good Food and good service

This is my second time getting an order to go and I have been happy both times. The first time I got the chicken sandwich, but had the chicken fried, it was delicious. This time (Mar 15) I got the steak kabobs and they were delicious too! The service is good, they always greet you at the door with... read more

The best steak on the Coast in the Gulfport/Biloxi area; especially for the price. Go big with the Nickey Creole and you'd have to be a snob to be disappointed. The place is not open everyday of the week. The seating is cramped, there's quite a wait on the weekends for a table, and it's not the cleanest joint in... More

I was introduced to Captain Al's a few years back when I moved here. Talk about a hidden gem. I've only gone here for lunch (many times) but trust me it's worth it. That steak sandwich is too good to describe. A large portion will ensure you leave hungry and a flavor that makes my mouth water just thinking about... More

Stopped here for a quick shrimp lunch to-go but it took about 30 minutes for it to get ready....good fried shrimp, really good crab soup and friendly staff (had a local brew while waiting on the porch) partly made up for the wait.

Played golf with my brother in law and asked where we could get some good local seafood and he suggested this place and it did not disappont. Smallish dinning room with friendly young waitresses. Fairly diverse menu with steaks and seafood. I had fried shrimp that rivaled my wife's and mother in law's. Son had steak po boy. Brother in... More

Captain Al & his daughter (sorry, forgot her name) have a great place! We recently had lunch there and it was excellent. My husband had a shrimp po-boy prepared exactly the way he asked (this is a rarity!) and he loved it. I had a crab cake and the corn-crab bisque which were both very good. The crab cake seemed... Best lunch special I've had in a very long time. Had lunch on a Thursday, the special was pork chops. I had the grilled chop with fried okra and mashed potatoes. I will be back on my next trip to the Gulf Coast. I've heard (from family) the steaks are the best on the Coast Karen S

The steak was amazing. It was flavorful and juicy! It is one of the best around. Everything we ate was so yummy.

Food was not good or fresh. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp late and the Shrimp tasted like the frozen ones you buy for Shrimp Cocktail. The steak was not good either and was less than 1/4in thick. Not the size of steak you get or the type of shrimp you get at a place that calls them selves a... More
