Try the crab cakes

We had dinner at Captain Al's. The crab cake dinner was very tasty and the grilled shrimp dinner was good. Both were served with a choice of two sides and we chose the stuffed potato and steamed broccolli. The dinners also come with a salad topped with shredded crab meat. They have a house honey... read more

Great seafood dinners. We went with grilled shrimp and fried shrimp and a crab cake. Crystal waited on us and she was fantastic.

We always stop here about once a month. Ribeye and grilled shrimp! The best! The seafood salad is okay. The atmosphere and service is always outstanding as is the food. You won't have to worry about trying to drown your steak in A1 here, that is for sure. Great place for the family.

We have a very old and dear friend that we were visiting and asked her where to go for dinner that WAS NOT a tourist trap. She said Captain Al's and she was spot on. The food was excellent, our server was charming, friendly and very professional and the price was quite reasonable. One note of caution for those who... More

Read previous reviews and decided to give it a try. The gumbo is very good. Ordered the steak and shrimp. Both lacked any seasoning. Shrimp were supposed to be grilled, they were more like boiled. Not worth the money!

Very Good restaurant known for steaks and meats cooked over wood burning grill. Portions large and prices very reasonable. Wait staff is very efficient and helpful. The food is fabulous. This should be a MUST on your dining list. Great for couples, family, friends, business and solo's.

My boyfriend took me here on our anniversary after bragging about how well they do steaks. And let's just say, he was right. My steak was cooked perfectly, medium well. Juicy and no need for A1. Crab claws are also done just right. Tables are close together, so be ready to make new friends.

I ordered the steak and shrimp, steak was over cooked, and grilled shrimp were half the size of my son's kids plate of fried shrimp. One of the kids didn't get their food until everyone was almost done eating, but they did not charge for it. Small venue, my wife loved the decorations, but that is not enough for us... More

They offer the best fried pork chops and rib eye steaks. Salads are basic ice berg but they are fresh.
