We ate upstairs for a rehearsal dinner. Starter salad was good, fried green tomato appetizer was over-breaded and too crunchy. Small dinner left a lot to be desired. Wouldn't go back.
Good customer service is still alive! I went to Lookout 49 at the old Hwy 49 location. This was my first time at the new location downtown Gulfport. The staff was friendly and the owner came by our table to chat. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I ordered a special that I did not like and the waitress allowed... More
We enjoyed the restaurant. I was determined to find the old Lookout 49 only to find that it was no longer in the same place. When we did find it we weren't disappointed. The wait staff was awesome & the food was GREAT!!!
Looking for great seafood and hubby wanted a steak. Recommended by a local and we both left happy with our choice. Don't miss it!
This was the first time my wife & I ate here. Service was very good & food was excellent. We started out with the Spinach/Artichoke dip. It was very good. The chips were light & crispy, not hard. I had the Cajun Pasta Supreme & my wife had the Grilled Flounder. My daughter had the Smoked Turkey melt & French... More
The shrimp & grits are the best on the Gulf Coast! Be sure to get the crawfish bread appetizer. This is fabulous! The crab cakes are full of lump crab meat - not much breading. You can't go wrong with LookOut. We are regulars & haven't gotten a bad meal ever. We always leave happy & extremely satisfied. You will... More
My husband and I often go to Lookout Steakhouse with another couple for their Jazz Sunday brunch. The food is always good and entertainment is a perfect compliment to the atmosphere. We will definitely continue to go on a regular basis. :-)
While traveling through one night w decided to eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere was calming. The restrooms were the cleanest we had ever seen. The staff went out of their way to please us. This was the best seafood we have ever had in our life. The catfish did not taste or smell "fishy". We told the manager while... More
My husband and I picked up info at the Biloxi Visitor's Center today which had several restaurants listed in the Gulfport downtown district. Since we were celebrating his birthday, I suggested we try the Lookout Steakhouse. We drove over to the restaurant and found it to be in a nice area with plenty of available parking but enough cars around... More
