Wedding Guests' Dinner

The staff was exceptional. The food delicious. Trout was a group favorite. Steak was done perfectly. Venue was gorgeous. Noise level made it a tad difficult to talk to all at the six top. But we packed the place. First time back to the new location and was thoroughly impressed.

Our family recently enjoyed lunch at The Chimneys while traveling through Mississippi. We were looking for somewhere with good atmosphere that was not far from the interstate highway. We certainly were not disappointed. We did encounter some traffic, but it took less than 10 minutes to get there from I-10. The restaurant and the property surrounding it are both beautiful.... Had dinner on Saturday night. The original building, like so much in the area, had been destroyed by Katrina, but the rebuild has all the charm of its earlier life; high ceilings, subdued lighting, plenty of windows overlooking the gulf,well-spaced tables with crisp linens. There's even a spacious veranda out front with tables for dining outdoors on a nice evening.... More

Certainly one of the best, if not the best places to dine on our beautiful Gulf Coast. Food is always prepared well and our service has been great this time and in the past. Ask for a table by the gulfside. The view is perfect.

While on our "Girl's Trip" we meet up here for lunch. I had seen this in a write up on Facebook as a place in Mississippi you must eat! We loved the food, service(wish I knew our server's name as she was the BEST!) and the ambience of this place. From the appetizers (Baked eggplant and spinach dip) to the... More

Excellent food! Very relaxing dining environment. Beer selection was outstanding. Sautéed shrimp was great and the seafood gumbo was amazing. Save room for desert! Server was very friendly but service was slow. Overall a great experience.

We stopped in for lunch after researching a little on Tripadvisor. It did not disappoint. My wife had fish tacos and I had pecan crusted redfish. Both were outstanding. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is great. It is in an older house right across the street from the gulf. The front yard has large live oaks in it.... More

Return visit after long absence. Early reservation and were seated in front of the fireplace on a cool, damp evening that took the chill away. Ordered bottle of Chardonnay that was served some of the best hot bread that I've had in a long time. Began dinner with excellent crab claws served with lots of butter and garlic, perfect for... Definitely need reservations, but well worth it. Tara, our server, was excellent and her recommendations were perfect. I got the trout almondine meunière and my husband got the sauté shrimp. Both dishes were great and the sides were impressive. The setting is delightful and very comfortable. Would recommend this restaurant if you want a really wonderful evening.
