It not only did it take 2 hrs to get our food but my daughter's chicken was tough my seafood plater had dry crab over breaded crab cakes frozen scallops and not fresh oysters either. My husband got grilled shrimp and they tasted like they had been boiled. The service was slow also. They did have decent fried pickles.

A friend recommended White Cap and all I can say is WOW! We went all out for dinner and it was worth every calorie. We ordered fried mushrooms for appetizer and they melted in our mouths. I ordered the seafood platter and it was excellent with real seafood not the frozen stuff. My wife ordered the crab cake pasta and... More

Went to White Cap for lunch July 6 and it was great. You have the option of sitting inside or out on the porch. We were inside by window with a view of the ocean. The food was great and plentiful. The service was also great. Waitress was always there to make sure we were good on drinks and food.... More

We ate at the White Cap Restaurant on the night of July 4th. We sat outside on the patio and watched the fireworks from all up and down the beach that is directly across the street. Great view of the Gulf of Mexico. We have never eaten at this Seafood Restaurant before but we were impressed by everything they had... More

Being from Louisiana, I am REALLY skeptical about eating seafood anywhere but home. I got the grilled Mahi-Mahi, and it was absolutely superb!! The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful, and the staff were prompt and courteous. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Gulfport!

For Southern food, it doesn't even hit the mark....the crawfish tails were chewy (like they'd been frozen) and their alfredo sauce tasted like it was from a powdered mix. Overall, bland food but the ambiance was good. The staff were polite and we were seated quickly.
