We only had short 15 minute wait. We were seated on porch, very nice. I had the seafood gumbo, really, really good. Their scallops were tasty but a little tough. the atmosphere was great.

First visit and impressed. Platter of raw oysters the largest even seen, every bite of gumbo had a piece of shrimp in it, boiled shrimp seasoned just right. Outside dining with view of beach available.

We've been to White Cap a few times over the past few years with family who live in the area. They always pick White Cap, and we go along but never walk away with a memorable experience. I had the blackened redfish and potatoes which were okay - just average, my husband had the fried shrimp and said that they... More

We stopped in the late afternoon for a nice dinner with another couple. They chose the White Cap. We don't usually eat at places on the beach, consider them tourist restaurants. Usually we are right. Our waitress was sweet and we got a smile dealing with her. Ordered a pitcher of beer and two house salads. Started off great. Beer... More

I grew up on the Gulf Coast, so knew the White Cap in several iterations and locations over the decades. We were back to the Coast, and stopped into the newest iteration. First, I appreciated the historical photos in the entryway, as they meant something to me - maybe not so much to another diner, however? The dining room in... More

Couldn't ask for better food..That is the first place we eat at when we get to Mississippi..It use to be on the beach but after Katrina they had to rebuild across from the beach..The food is some of the best seafood I've eaten

Service and food was excellent. We shared the seafood platter one evening. All was great and plenty for two. Service was excellent---they truly made you feel that they were happy that you visited them.

Our first & probably last visit to White Cap. Avoid the shrimp scami - shrimp tasted bland & scampi sauce was in the bottom of the bowl. Oysters were good. Shrimp Cocktail was ok. Many other local restaurants with better ocean view, more food selections & better prices.

We visited while on vacation and will definitely be returning on the next trip. Our waitress was awesome. The food was delicious. The view was beautiful. We went for lunch and the menu was extremely reasonable for seafood. The sweet tea was also quite good.

The first thing you notice is the great view of the Gulf through the large windows across the back of the building. The wait staff was friendly and service was quick. I enjoyed the gumbo and crab cakes.
