This isn't a great restaurant "for greenwood", it's just a great restaurant! The atmosphere is lovely (we had a private room/booth), the service was attentive but not too much, and the food and drinks were great. We were staying at the Alluvian for the weekend, and really enjoyed our evening at Giardinia's.

The service was great. The shrimp appetizer was fantastic. I had the fish special which was excellent and a co worker had a great steak which was huge. A great meal

While in the Alluvian Hotel or attached Giardina's Restaurant, you will feel like you are in a very urban setting, but once you are seated in your private, curtained room, you will enjoy fantastic appetizers, wines, entrees and do not miss ordering their spinach soufflé or fries as a side. Their filet w/ crab meat on top or delicata w/... More

Location and setting were very nice. Food was good, service was good, although I didn't think it lived up to its reputation.

I enjoyed a great evening here with a table of 12. The food was excellent. The onion rings and the desserts were the highlights. I did not except this high quality in greenwood! Thumbs up.

Food was good with decent portions. But the service was poor, server had on dirty tunic (and I do mean dirty) and was slow. We sat for nearly 15 min just waiting for water.

Comeback Burger was exceptional! Three quarters of a pound ground ribeye burger. Hand crafted bun, salad greens, sweet pickles. The fries were great .. . fresh potatoes, hand cut, battered and fried. Did I mention the Gumbo? Try the Gumbo! Good selection of brews and spirits ... enjoyed a very nice single malt scotch for dessert. My kind of place.... More

Shared fried green tomato appetizer. I ordered the oysters 3 ways. Table shared a garlic mashed potato and additional side (don't remember what it was, as I didn't have any...). The fried green tomatoes with "comeback sauce" were very good. Oysters were very good as well, cooked and seasoned well. Server was not very familiar with wine, so you may... More

Read great reviews and had to try this place. There is public parking in the block behind the restaurant with alley access that is free if you cannot find street parking. Arrived early as I was on EST and was seated promptly. Each table has its own little room with individual lighting and draw curtains. I was reminded somewhat of... More

The staff was great about changing our table for two to table for four to accommodate our new friends. We started with Oysters Bienville, then had a salad. I ordered the broiled shrimp which were cooked perfectly and my sister's filet drew raves. Our favorite was the spinach ricotta! The service was great, and we loved the privacy of the... More
