Went here from breakfast and I was surprised that you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Makes sense for efficiency. Anyhow the service was good and the breakfast was tasty. I couldn't leave the south without having a side of grits. The scrambled eggs were really good but the biscuit was average. Well worth... More

We had breakfast here during a recent shopping trip. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, lght and fluffly. The bacon cooked perfectly and the coffee hot and fresh. We will certainly visit again!

When the plane lands, the first stop is usually Primos! Breakfast is what brings us in where the grits and biscuits are beyond compare! Everything else is just icing on the cake. And speaking of cake, if it's after breakfast or after a meal somewhere else we ALWAYS stop for cake. We haven't gotten past the strawberry and the caramel... More

We usually have breakfast or lunch here. This was our first time for dinner. I had pot roast. My wife had catfish. We were both well pleased. The vegetables were also enjoyable especially the turnip greens.

Primos is one of the most consistent eateries in Jackson, good home style cooking, at reasonable prices.

Large comfortable booths. Easy ordering. About half of our group ordered the Blue Plate specials.....the rest ordered off the menu. What was impressive is that ALL of the food was delivered at the same time by numerous staff. The food was okay with one exception...the cornbread muffins were stale.....we wondered why they even plated them? They like to turn tables... More

Primo's slogan "Southern food for city folks" is spot on. Customers order at the counter, are provided a number and a cup for their drink, and asked to find a table. While the printed menu has many tasty treats, go for the plate lunch as I've never been disappointed and items such as meatloaf, skinny catfish, smothered pork chops, etc...... More

This place understands what it is, and it delivers every time. Very consistent, and good every time. There's enough deserts to choose from -- kinda explains that whole obesity thing (and makes it worth every bite.)

I don't eat here..... I get treats to take to meetings, classroom parties, my son's teachers, etc., and keep one for myself. I love their cookies, and while it does not seem that would warrant such a good review, you must try them. In fact all of their food is made simply and delicious, and I have no way of... More
