Good and Inexpensive

To me, this is an old Southern restaurant, with good dishes for the majority of Mississippians. So I was pleased to see that a vegetarian (or near vegetarian) can still get a good meal there. My wife and I decided to order several vegetable sides, and when we said this to the person taking our... read more

Open for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Breakfast can be ordered anytime. The best cheese grits in Mississippi. Blue plate lunch or order what you desire.

After shopping with the family for back-to-school, we stopped in for lunch. They have a very reasonably price

This is home cooking. We had breakfast there and would have gone back if they were open on Sundays. Would like to try their dinner as well.

I had lunch at Primos Café yesterday, April 21, 2015. It's one of those places where you order at the counter, pay, and take a number. Then the food is brought to your table. Not my favorite kind of place to begin with. I ordered chicken and dumplings. It was one of the blue plate lunches, and it came with... More

I ordered the Thursday blue plate special and got fried chicken, mac/cheese, turnips and corn bread. Came with drink. It was $8.95, and the portions were large. The food was very good and the service was as well.

It looks like an interesting place to eat at, the menu is a bit pricey for a cafe. If you have never been its a little different than the other cafeteria style eateries. You order at the counter and take a # along with your cups for you to get your drinks. A food runner brings the food out to... More
