Good food

I always enjoy eating at Primos! This restaurant has a very long history in Jackson. Generally speaking, the atmosphere during busy hours is very loud and exciting. But the pricing is way overboard. So needless to say, I don't go there as often as I used to go in the past. I paid $12 for a bowl... read more

Primos is a staple of Jackson and your visit to town is not complete with a visit. Especially friendly folks, delicious food and the best deserts you’ve ever wrapped your lips around (can you say carrot cake?). Not to mention sweet tea with so much sugar it’s one step away from a pudding. Don’t miss this.

We went Friday night and had the catfish with 2 sides. So very good! And I love the green beans. I've never had a bad meal there. We go usually once a week.

This is a fun little diner with yummylicious food. It was just under 40.00 for 3 people for lunch, which included drinks and one dessert. You order at the counter, take a number, and in about 10 to 15 minutes, your meal is delivered to your table. They offer appetizers, entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches, blue plate specials, and desserts. Dine... More

Vegetables are delicious, as are the salads. The style of Primos fits a family, a single, for business and for visiting. Desserts are as delicious as they look.

Great atmosphere, fast service, good food, and great value. During a recent lunch visit, the specials were red beans and rice, meatloaf, and chicken pot pie. I had the red beans and rice, while my associates had meat loaf and chicken pot pies. All were very good. Will need to save room for pie next time.

Hubby and I ate here last nite because the reviews were good. I so wish we had not. We walked in and had no clue what to do and nobody greeted us. I was looking on the wall for the menu but didn't see any and finally the cashier motioned to a paper menu. I asked for a recommendation to... More

I have eaten here several time while during the past 5-6 years visiting my son and his wife. The food is great and service very nice!! I wish they had more calorie smart choices, but it's always good!! They do have wonderful fresh brewed tea and also have it sweetened with Splenda.

I took my wife, grandson and mother-in-law for early supper. Service was good, staff very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful. Mac n cheese and some vegetables seemed leftover from lunch and not as fresh as possible. Typically an outstanding place and we will be back. It was 100 degrees today so lots... More
