Was OK...nothing special. Just your ordinary buffet like everywhere else. Not open for dinner only breakfast and lunch

Love to stop if I have time to enjoy too much food. Fried pork chops are my favorite. The vegetables are always fresh and plentiful. You can usually tell how good the food is if there are city workers or telephone trucks parked out front. Try it once and You will go bad.

I love the breakfast pizza. It seems like they have some pretty good local cuisine, but I have a hard time finding out since they are only open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday. I guess we all need a break sometime.

We figured that it would be good since we were competing with city workers for a parking space. $11.00 apiece, tax included. Good iced tea. The cole slaw was nice and the thin old fashioned chicken and sausage gumbo was pretty good. Big ol' homemade biscuits (that I dipped in the gumbo instead of adding rice just because I can)... More

Great chicken, red beans & rice, but overall just a regular average southern buffet, but the food was fresh. The fried green tomatoes were horrible, extremely thin, overly battered and chewy. Bizarre, considering the name of this place. The food is not as good as Cajuns or Hartz buffets. Not as good as the new Orleans cafe next door as... More

I've read some of the previous reviews and they must be for Fried Green Tomato somewhere else. My wife and I have always traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally. We eat 30-40% of our meals in restaurants. This restaurant is a great find. I usually avoid buffets, but this one is clearly an exception. Excellent quality, true southern flavors,... More

For someone who does not like buffets it is my first 5-star rating. All of the meats and vegetables are fresh and perfectly cooked. Some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Friendly service, fair prices and very clean. Limited menu but what they serve is delicious.

I'm not a buffet eater and that's the only thing they have. It's basic buffet food nothing to good. It's small on the inside.

Sorry to say we had been looking forward to eating here. We finally made our trip to eat lunch and thought it was a fairly clean, sort of low end locally owned diner. We were looking forward to making it a regular on our list of favorite places to eat. The waitress was friendly and helpful. It was downhill from... More
