I like to try BBQ everywhere. But once here is enough for me. The fried okra appetizer was huge and good. But the pulled pork I got was poor. The corn salad was interesting and definitely good, but couldn't make up for the pork.

Not much to say besides YUM! Had the pulled pork plate special and it did not disappoint. Not even a big fan of BBQ but this was great.

When I heard about them there fried ribs, my stomach, heart, other functioning arteries, and I said this is a must!! The staff are really nice and friendly, the ladies are just as sweet as the sweet tea they serve, but my preference is a nice cold Dr. Pepper with lemon wedges. Boy howdy, the fried ribs are not only... More

I have been to this place seven times in the last seven years, I wish they would read there reviews and act accordingly, this restaurant is nasty, tables. floors, windows and sauce bottles have not been cleaned in forever, sanitize after holding open the filthy door.... The menu is so large that you know it cant all be fresh and... More

Although this might be my last entry due to my impending heart failure, I went out with a bag. You read that right. I had fried ribs. You're in Alabama, I guess they fry everything in this state. They were good. And the ladies that work there are very sweet.

This retaraunt was recommended to me when I was in Columbus on business. The interior is not indicative of the quqlity of the food. You actually order at the counter and then find a seat. I ordered the Pulled Pork and my colleague had the ribs. We were both extremely satisfied with our choice. the food was excellent. The meat... More

The locations in Colombus cannot compete with the original. The menu is okay with many offerings outside of barbeque. But the barbeque is the best on the menu. the last cheeseburger I had was dry and the meat was flavorless, like a school lunchroom pattie. Fries were also soggy. If you want great barbeque drive the 24 mile west to... More

Another reviewer said that this restaurant is "the real deal", or something to that effect. I couldn't disagree more. BBQ is SO subjective; since there is an infinite number of sauce recipes, virtually every restaurant's offerings are going to taste different. I really don't care for their sauce at the Little Dooey, and the meat doesn't seem to be smoked... More

Food was good. Although they no longer served an item that my husband remembered as a child. The service was well, we were greeted when we walked in. It was clean, it did take a long time for our order to be made

The best bbq around. Authentic pulled pork bbq. The sides are also good. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting real southern bbq that is quality. There is never any fat or gristle in the meat. The sauces are good. I love their baked beans and cole slaw….and the potato salad, it’s mustardy.
