Came in from Texas and found this place on TripAdvisor. Was not disappointed one bit. The wait was about an hour so we went and had a few drinks at the bar. Met some great people and never had to wait for another drink. The boudain balls were delicious. When we finally went to our table we ordered right away... More

One of the better burgers I've had. Stopped here while on business for an early dinner. I was one of the only ones in the restaurant because it was so early and got great service. The burger was very tasty--clearly fresh ingredients, the bun was toasted to perfection and added a nice crunch. Seems like it could be a fun... More

If you want a great meal and variety you need to try this place. FLAVOR, not many place can offer you that anymore. Love the Shrimp and Grits, Chicken on the Bayou and my wife's all time favorite steak (unless I am cooking) is the Bone In Rib Eye. High dollar but well worth the treat.

I live about 45 minutes from Columbus and while they have a Harvey's where you can get good food, I never expected them to have a restaurant with the food and service that Huck's Place has! It took a while to find it because it is nestled in among some old, kind of run down buildings off of the main... More

Hadn't been to Huck's in awhile due to a bad experience last year. Tried lunch today and it was fantastic. Great service. Wonderful food. I'm putting them back on my favorites list.

If for some odd reason I go back there, I will get a steak and keep it simple. I got the boudain balls and they were ok. I ordered spaghetti and it tasted horrible. My girlfriend got a 14oz ribeye steak and it was good. The service was slow and the tax on the food was way higher than 7%... More

One would never imagine stumbling upon such a wonderful "steak oasis" in the middle of one of the poorest and oldest towns in Mississippi. In the land of cornbread, black-eyed peas, and "stick-to-me" grits, Huck's Place offers a hearty welcoming of great food, Southern hospitality, and a fantastic value for the dollar. Though the atmosphere is upscale casual, the prompt... More

This was one of the best meals we ate in the course of a weeklong southern road trip. Everything was delicious and the service was good too. Strongly recommend.

I don't usually eat steak but someone told me it was a must try. I ordered the bone-in ribeye. The best steak I have ever tasted. Cooked medium and to perfection. Went perfect with the mashed sweat potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The dirty rice was just okay, but overall an awesome meal.

When my son got married, we had our rehearsal dinner at Huck's. There were 45 people who came to the dinner (we were expecting 40), but when there's free food involved, the in-laws tend to come out of the woodwork. (That's a joke, ya'll) We had a private room, upstairs and it was large enough to accommodate all of the... More
