To be honest this is probably the darkest, dingiest place we've ever eaten but the food was surprisingly good. All cooked fresh to order using fresh ingredients. The coffee was nothing to write home about, juice was served in individual cartons.

Quick, fast and easy place to grab a cheap burger. They had a crawfish special going when we were there and people seemed pretty happy about that. Grab and go because they still smoke in here.

Delta Amusement has Good Old Fashioned Home cooked Breakfasts with all the refills you want on Coffee & Tea. They use Fresh Farmed eggs & Large thick peppered Bacon slices that don't shrink up during cooking. You can really taste the difference. Its just like visiting your Momma's Home Kitchen! You can also, (like home) get up & help yourself... More

Had breakfast here twice while in Clarksdale for 3 days, I LOVE the cheese omelets and the grilled toast! Hashbrowns are good but I like the grits better. Would like half and half for the coffee and not nondairy dry creamer, but that seems to be rather prevalent in the south. Friendly people, great prices, $11 or $12 for a... More

Walking into Delta Amusement Cafe is like stepping back in time several decades. It's a no frills cafe with basic comfort food offerings. Do not expect this to be like a chain restaurant! When I was there, most of the patrons were locals and it felt like everyone knew each other. You trade off some of the service you're used... More

We stopped in about 3 pm the day before the Sunflower River Blues Fest started and grabbed a quick meal. Staff was busy getting more tables, etc set up for the festival so the service dragged but can't gripe too much about it. Had the catfish which was good and the beer which was better. Just a local diner so... More

Not many blue-plate, hole in the wall places exists anymore, especially colorful ones filled with locals sipping on beer and playing cards before lunchtime. Certainly friendly and inexpensive with VERY delicious southern food: breaded cutlet, beans, collard greens, smothered rice, seasoned fries, and corn bread. There are other, touristy places nearby, but come here for a truly local meal!
