We visited Ranchero this evening. I chose the Ranch Ribs, and explained that this was our first BBQ tasting. My wife decided to go lite and had a shrimp vermicelli. The food was great, served with superb friendly staff who could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend Ranchero based on our experience.

My friend and I wanted to have a steak and some seafood so we grabbed our white and red and headed out to dinner. The staff is very professional and friendly. her steak and my broiled fish were spot-on thank you for a wonderful, hassle-free experience! We also were greeted by a very nice gentleman that walked us in and... More

The ribs are very meaty and perfectly cooked. It's the best choice on the menu. Charbroiled chicken was overcooked, dry, tasteless. Sides are fine but nothing outstanding. The salad line had some nice fresh fruit, something not always seen.

Average at best would describe our experience at the Ranchero. The food was on the expensive side for the quality. Four of us dined and no two people had the same meal. Since it was later in the day each of us had a lunch or dinner item and after eating we all stated the prices did not match the... More

My wife got a half slab of ribs. She let me have 1 rib. It was very good. I got the FryBurger. About a 1/3 lb burger, topped with chilli, & that topped with Cole slaw. It is a local thing I reckon. I loved it, I need another before we head home tomorrow.

Very disappointed! The elderly waitress was extremely rude, there is no none-smoking section, several of our cups and one of our napkins had food on them, and our table was dirty. If that wasn't enough we saw cockroaches!, and the staff was bickering quite loudly the whole time! Wasn't a very pleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend it....... Ever! I... More

truthfully, we wanted Abe's but, despite being advertised as open until 9pm, when we arrived at 8:17, they told us they were closed; we were OK with that - in Miss., we started calling things like that a "BMD" (Basic Mississippi Deal). Things are a little different and if you roll with it, you'll be fine. Ranchero is NOT a... More

Had a delightful meal at the Ranchero in Clarksdake, MS. Waitress and staff were friendly and very accomodating. I am gluten-free and the waitress had no problem asking the cook if there was wheat flour in the gumbo (no there wasn't)! My friend had the same and he liked it too. I ordered the large gulf shrimp too, just grilled... More
