Authentic Mexican Food

You feel like you are in Juarez while dining here. Don't let the exterior fool you. The service is great, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the price is very reasonable. You owe it to yourself to give this place a try.

The food is by far the best around however the place has been here for about 20 yrs. it is dingy and dirty. They should move to a new location. I get my food to go but everyone in Brandon eats lunch here. The tables are sticky and don't even get me started about the bathroom.

Cafe Azteca although not much to look at has the best Mexican Food in town. Try the chicken enchiladas or the burrito Chihuahua. The chips and salsa cant be beat. I dont recommend the cheese dip but the guacamole is delicious and made fresh. Dont let the exterior fool you.

My son and husband love eating as Azteca, they could eat there everyday. I do enjoy the restaurant, but the food can be a little rich at times. The location is interesting, to say the least. But you don't go there for the decor, it is the food. Especially the chips and salsa.

I've been eating at the Azteca for 21 years and I am always happy with the food. The salsa tastes like a fresh vegetable garden most trips. The appearance is what it is but, it's obvious before you head in that it's not going to be fine dining. Just relax and enjoy it. It's not dirty and has plenty of... More

Went there once on a recommendation. My wife and I both had terrible stomach upset for 2 days. The source of the recommendation is no longer credible.

Went to dinner with my family. The waiter was excellent. He constantly checked on us, kept our glasses full & was very helpful. The refried beans were "lard-looking" and bland. The ground beef & chicken enchiladas and burritos were normal with strong cumin flavor red sauce. All in all, OK, but nothing to write home about.

I have been eating at Cafe Azteca for 33 years. There food is always good and there salsa is spicy hot and good. All of the dishes I've tried have been good. The most I've eaten there was five times in a week. The chips are served warm and you want leave hungry. The owner told me years ago to... More
