During "Cruisin the Coast" weekend we tried the Oyster House and totally enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for dinner. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. I particularly enjoyed the bisque. Definitely will be returning!

The Oyster House is a popular destination for visitors as well as locals. We had the Oyster Sample Platter and it was spectacular. Our entrees were also great. Our server was knowledgeable in the food, attentive and very pleasant. Being a popular restaurant there was a 30 minute wait, but it was worth the wait.

Nice size oysters. I like them well done. Some were not. Decent prices and service. Fried green tomatoe and bacon sandwich was good. Men's bathroom had walls covered in oyster shells. My husband thought that was neat. Quick service.

We went on a slow Monday afternoon, around 1 p.m. We were seated promptly, and our waiter quickly took our drink and app order. They have several local beers on tap, and I have heard the margaritas are fantastic, but we decided to stick with water on this trip. I ordered the Royal Reds with the Sweet Potato Creme Brûlée,... We are picky about our seafood being from New Orleans, but this place was great! I had the fried green tomatoes with crab cakes. It was delicious! The charbroiled oysters were excellent. My husband had the steak which was also excellent.

We were late afternoon diners so there was no wait and we had our pick up tables. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. I was drawn to the Grouper top with a lobster and cream sauce. I pointedly asked our waitress to promise me that the grouper was fresh and in fact actually grouper. She... More

We went one night for happy hour and sat at the bar. Some food was on special but not bar drinks. Lindsey was our bartender and he was probably the best server we have ever had! Service was extraordinary. In fact, we had a most wonderful experience, it was very expensive but worth it.
