Great place with an excellent local vibe. The seafood gumbo and red beans and rice are superb. Local favorites like the burgers and sandwiches are very good as well.
Visited based on a recommendation from a local. We expected more I guess. The atmosphere was pretty cool, we enjoyed the décor, and the bar was a pretty hopping place for a Saturday afternoon! Unfortunately the food was just so-so. Service was slow anyway and the food did not make up for it. I had the Mahi Mahi Wrap which... More
Stopped here during Cruisin the Coast on our bikes, received great service from out little waitress, very friendly. Did not eat anything but beer was cold and drinks mixed great. Would highly recommend stopping while cruising.
We went to the Ole Fillin Station on Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. They were busy but we waited outside for 15 minutes and then moved inside to get any service at all. Our waitress was just okay after that. We had the seared tuna app--it was okay. We both had the shrimp po-boy. It was okay. We read... More
We had the Mahi Mahi wrap. It was some of the best fish that we have ever had. Wrapped in a huge spinach tortilla and pressed, the flavor was outstanding. We split the wrap and had all that we wanted to eat - just wish we had more room.

A dozen of either of these makes a full meal for my wife and I--along with a cold beer. The charbroiled compete with the Half Sheff Oyster House in flavor, with a more laid... More
Went here based on reviews and was not disappointed. Unique atmosphere since it was an old filling station, our waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and seasoned great! We like a little Cajun spice on our seafood and it was perfect. The fried crawfish and crawfish nachos were awesome! The waitress let us sample a couple local... More

Really enjoyed chatting with Elizabeth, the waitress, and another gentleman from the place ( sorry forgot his name)- very personable and they make you feel very welcome. Only disappointment was that they had run... More
Plenty of good food with a little New Orleans Kick. Open air so pick your time to visit. Crawdads were excellent, pork crops outstanding and a great hamburger. Wide selection of beer.
