Let me just say this, I never liked oysters, never desired to try oysters until one of my friends living in Biloxi advised me that these were the best in town. So, Mother's Day, I decided to treat my mom to a nice dinner on the coast. She ordered the special and I ordered the Oyster Sampler; seriously, too many... More

I couldn't think of one thing to complain about if I tried! We absolutely loved everything about this place. Our waitress was on the ball from the second we sat down. I ordered the Mango Sunset Martini, and it was fabulous. My husband and I ordered the Oyster Sampler - wonderful. The Rockefellers were my favorite, but all were excellent.... More

We went to the Half Shell Oyster House for my wife's birthday. It was excellent! It is a quaint, quiet spot near downtown, just a couple of blocks off Beach Boulevard. We got there around 6 p.m. on Friday night and there was already a 20 min. wait for a table, which probably says something about how popular it is. The... More

We took the advice of Trip Advisor and checked out this restaurant. There is really nothing negative to say. The royal reds were a first for us, and what a surprise. We were licking our fingers. The crab bisque was full of good stuff and the sweet potato creme brûlée is not to be missed. Hubby had the oysters on... More

We took a shrimp boat tour and this restaurant was mentioned so we decided to give it a shot. It was absolutely amazing. I am a huge fan of the Royal Reds. Everything from beginning to end was fantastic. I would recommend dining here but get there early :)

We always enjoy visiting the Half Shell when we come to Biloxi each summer! The royal reds are usually my favorite each visit, however, I tried the charbroiled oyster sampler and now I am hooked! The different types of oysters in the sampler allowed me to taste the various editions. I will more surely return and this is classic a... More

We eat quite often at the Half Shell in Sarasota and it has always been excellent!! Last night at the Half Shell in Biloxi was mediocre !! Bar Service was excellent while we waited on table! It was down hill from there! Waiter was not with it - didn't bring correct sides/ salads!! Didn't seem to be able to correct... More

We had chargrilled oysters. Some were very large. We like them well done. We had to send some back to the grill. My husband had the New Orleans Chargrilled. They were spicey but he enjoyed them. The fried green tomatoe and bacon sandwich was good. The server was good and we sat and got our food in a decent amount... More
