Great food and fun atmosphere

This is my favorite place to eat in Bay St. Louis. I always have to splurge on calories and indulge in the fried seafood platter. My friend loves the angel hair primavera. It is a vegetarian dish chocked full of vegetables and has a delicious flavor.

We have been to Trapani's twice in the last month, and have made the decision NEVER TO EAT HERE AGAIN. The staff is less than friendly - the hostess seemed to busy to be bothered by seating us, and our waitress had an attitude, never once apoligizing that it took almost 2 hours to get us our food. The food... More

Recommend visiting here if you want some seafood. Not many options in the area for decent food. We had a dozen oysters that were tasty and cheap. We also had the gulf shrimp that were seasoned with nice spices. It wasn't a full crowd and the place was overwhelmed though.

Not very inviting. Very over priced. Food takes 45 minutes to an hour to come out. No sweet tea. As a local I really did enjoy eating at Trapani's but the hospitality there has gone down hill. The owner was standing by the hostess as we left and did not even thank us for giving him money. If you want... More

Trapani's served a super Eggplant Delacroix recently. It was probably the best I have ever tasted. The food was cooked to perfection and served promptly and HOT. Trapani's has been a local landmark in BSL for many years. The new restaurant back at the old location from before Katrina is delightful.

We were surprised at the size. Looks small from the outside. We went upstairs to eat out on the deck. We tried the ecstasy bacon wrapped shrimp and teriyaki tips. They were both delicious. Great Margarita too. The decor was charming. We liked sitting outside on a beautiful evening.

Trapani's is back on the beach and we couldn't be happier! Hurricane Katrina washed her away from her original location and they relocated to another building for a while. This restaurant just belongs on the beach! The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Service can be a little slow when they're busy, but that's a good 'problem' to have. The... More

Not impressed at all. The atmosphere was like being in a fast food restaurant, very loud acoustics, silverware was very cheap, and service perfunctory for a place that charges you $5 to add broccoli, $3 for a small Caesar salad, or $4 for a Greek salad to be added to your meal! All other places we have gone to in... More

This place is back in its old location and even better. The food is always decent, and sometimes excellent, but the real draw is the atmosphere. Worth a visit!

We've been to Trapani's twice and have enjoyed the meal both times. Their charbroiled oysters are fantastic and rival what we have had in New Orleans. I had their etouffee during the last trip and would definitely have it again! Our first trip was during the summer, so we sat outside and enjoyed the patio seating.
