It's a small venue with a limited menu, but everything on it is marvelous and truly authentic! Watch their Facebook page for off-menu specials (e.g. the fleischsalat). Food and service are superb - atmosphere is okay, but that's not why we love this restaurant. It's the food.

Wow! What a find. We were driving by on Father's day on the way to Buccaneer State Park and this little bistro grabbed out attention. The inside is small but comfortable and the decor show's the owner's root- showing off his items from his native Italy along with his love of racing- motorcycles and Formula 1. The food was spectacular.... More

After coming back from Gulf Coast Bible Camp, I wanted to try something different. So I went here. I ordered the sausage platter (Thüringer & Bratwurst) w/ this big bun, German mustard, & sauerkraut. I asked for mayo & that's when the owner (BTW, I called him Signore Fogagnolo) was hilarious. He was talking to this guy who eventually got... More

I expected high quality and something different from the local tradition based on other reviews. I got it. :) I really enjoyed the pork belly sandwich, the pasta main, the german export beer (seems to require a New Orleans distributor), as well as the conversation with the owner after finishing (which is great fun if you are German or have... Amazing restaurant in Bay St Louis. Caprese salad was large with fresh basil leaves and mozzarella that had a wonderful flavor. I had the shank with sauerkraut and potatoes. It was extremely tender and had great flavor. My wife had squash ravioli which was excellent. My daughter had the manicotti and cleaned her plate. We finished it of with a... More

Both times I have been to this restaurant, I have been so pleased with my meals. I definitely wouldn't mind eating here every time I come to the Gulf Coast. The restaurant serves both German and Italian food, crepes and sometimes other things as well. The specials change frequently and are seasonally appropriate, which makes it fun to come back... More

Took the drive over to Bay St. Louis on the advice of a friend to eat here, and it was well worth it. Great German food and beer and probably the best cannoli I've tasted.

We love this place! We had never tried German food before we came here, but it's our favorite now. Meat and potatoes kind of stuff with a unique variety that can't be found at other restaurants in the area. We try something different every time and always leave with a new favorite. They also have a nice variety of Italian... More
