Stop in and kick back!

The Bonfire is a great place to come for happy hour or dinner! The atmosphere is nice and calm...an excellent place to come in and relax! Maybe they have had a shake-up there lately regarding the need for friendly service, so that was almost over the top, excluding the hostess today, who just didn't have the hostess personality. She didn't smile or welcome us, and was sloppily dressed. Not particularly inviting. The floor, bases of the tables and general surroundings were dirty, strewn with popcorn from... More

My fiance has been here many times and with very few exceptions has thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately this was not one of them. It started out well - we were seated quickly, and our server was friendly, professional, and prompt. We ordered the Chicken Quesadillas appetizer which was the best part of our entire meal. That, her green beans, my... More

Came here for dinner with my wife and we got seated promptly with a reservation at the fire. The service was great, but the food was just ok. My wife got the battered walleye (had to sub walleye instead of Pike). She said it was good but needed more seasoning. I got the beef medallions and one was good and... More

We were looking for a bar to watch the football game and found it and much more! Smells were so enticing we stayed to eat and glad we did. Menu was diverse enough so everyone had a tough time choosing, even me who eats gluten free!! Service was great but food was even better.

Dinner out with another couple, everyone ordered fish. Guys had the Fish Fry which was northern pike instead of cod. Served with fries and coleslaw - portions were HUGE, flavor was neither good nor bad - just "fine". Women both had Walleye Tacos. Three generous, flavorless tacos served with flavorless white rice and black beans with not enough cilantro (the... More

Whatever you try, do not try their steaks! Our party of four decided to go and celebrate New Years Eve and have a nice dinner. Two of us had the drunk and dirty Sirloin. I asked how big the Sirloin was as I thought it was strange that they wouldn't list it on the menu and our waiter looked down... More

We stopped in early on a Friday evening without a reservation and received great service. The restaurant filled up shortly after we arrived. We were in time for the happy hour from 3-6 and there were some very good prices. The portion sizes were larger than anticipated. The specialties from the "wood fire" ovens were very flavorful the other menu... More

Went here for dinner one night absolutely loved the low lighting and smell of the wood burning as you walk through the door. The menu was greatly designed the new fiesta salad was amazing, I would definitely recommended. Service was great from the hostess to our waiter very smiley and polite. I definitely will be going back here again soon.

My partner and I stopped here on the way out of the Twin Cities for dinner. It was a great experience with just a couple small caveats. Their wood-fired pizza is terrific. The flavors are great, the chicken is tender and succulent, and it's a large portion size. It may seem like an odd downside, but they perhaps put too... More
