Great change from "Chain" food

On my recent trip to Woodbury, I had lunch and dinner at Bonfire. The meals and service was very good. A nice atmosphere and decor for this sprawling space. The crowd was lively; filled with families. The happy hour is an excellent deal for drinks and appetizers. I'd rather come here than any... read more

Went here for Easter brunch. It was very good. Lots of items to choose from. From your traditional breakfast fare to Salmon. You could even order an omlet which was included in the price. The desserts were really good. You could also order a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa but not part of the brunch price. The only drawback was... More

Bonfire is our favorite place to eat as a family. The kids love to build their own pizzas, and they build a sundae for dessert. I have not had anything I do not like. The burgers are great along with the chicken. We like to go for 1/2 price pizzas and appetizers. The Bullbites are amazing. We also like to... More

Really enjoyed the rustic atmosphere! My steak dinner was exceptional and I was allowed to substitute my side dish. A little pricey but good service and great food!

Husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We ordered fish and chips to share and we ordered their short ribs, which were really good. One of the pieces of fish had a hair fried into the batter and upon taking a bite of a rib just a short while after finding the hair in the fish,... More

We enjoy bonfire very much! They have great food especially the bontons! When we done with a small group the service is pretty quick or average. However, we did go with a large group including 3 kids and it took over an hour to get our food and the kids were about to lose it as we had gone past... More

The Bonfire is a great place to come for happy hour or dinner! The atmosphere is nice and calm...an excellent place to come in and relax! Things can get exciting though....when there may be a game on that everyone is watching! Sit down in the bar and ask for Ryan, Kim or Reese! They have plenty of food options and... More

Maybe they have had a shake-up there lately regarding the need for friendly service, so that was almost over the top, excluding the hostess today, who just didn't have the hostess personality. She didn't smile or welcome us, and was sloppily dressed. Not particularly inviting. The floor, bases of the tables and general surroundings were dirty, strewn with popcorn from... More

My fiance has been here many times and with very few exceptions has thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately this was not one of them. It started out well - we were seated quickly, and our server was friendly, professional, and prompt. We ordered the Chicken Quesadillas appetizer which was the best part of our entire meal. That, her green beans, my... More

Came here for dinner with my wife and we got seated promptly with a reservation at the fire. The service was great, but the food was just ok. My wife got the battered walleye (had to sub walleye instead of Pike). She said it was good but needed more seasoning. I got the beef medallions and one was good and... More
