We're big fans of Asian food. This place is not quite a hole in the wall, but also not a fancy restaurant. Fans of sesame chicken in the Twin Cities, declare it the best sesame chicken around, which we usually place two orders for, in vary degrees of heat, to meet the tastes within the family. OOPS--that's two words :). However, We've never found any sesame chicken like this. It's just what we want. Get the level 3 spicy. Not too bad, but adds good flavor. Can't talk about too much else, as the only time we go to Yangs is when we have a hankering for sesame chicken!!

The place is always busy -- both eat-in and take-out. The fried rice and sweet and sour pork are always excellent. The won ton soup is lacking, the egg rolls are OK, but the entrees are great.

If you've never eaten "real" Chinese food (or even good American-Chinese) food, this place is probably OK. But if you have tried many "Chinese" places, I think you will find this one falls far down the list. I live nearby, and we have tried Yang's many times over the years. I will say it is always of the same poor-to-mediocre... More

Best sesame chicken in the Twin Cities! Service is always fast and friendly. The cream cheese wontons are excellent!

i have eaten all over the world in over 100 chinese places. Yangs is greasy and the place is just down right dirty. I would think the health inspector needs to pay this place a visit more often. drive down the road to the tea house it is so much better

The food is pretty good at Yang's (I have had Chinese in New York City, Chicago and San Francisco). I highly recommend the sesame chicken. The facilities are ok when eating in, but I recommend just doing take out. They are usually very busy so keep that in mind.
