15 minutes to wait for drink during the Viking's game is too long

This was our first time at Betty Jo's. We loved the atmosphere inside. Our waitress had no idea what the drink specials were for the Vikings game. Service was pleasant but needs some training. There was only has one bartender on for a full house during a Vikings game. 15 minutes was way to long to... read more

My kids got pizza and loved it. I got the chicken dumpling soup, and asked for a second bowl. The service was very good, and friendly. The place was clean, and not noisy. I would go there again.

Been coming here a few years now. Tonight the food was bad. The coleslaw was not mixed correctly, waffle fries were almost burnt and ordered a drink and received something completely different. Management/owner needs to step up and work here and not just run it from the sidelines. Very disappointed, this not the first time we have had problems with... More

From the looks of the website it seemed like it would have good food and good service. WRONG! server was, well less than sober and less than informative. I asked several questions which he had no answers to and didn't bother to find out. The burger while "hand pattied" had zero flavor. The mac and cheese (boxed) was dry and... More

Stopped in Winona for lunch on our annual eagle trip around Lake Pepin. Hubby had the Warrior and I had the patty melt--both were very tasty. Our waitress was cheerful and efficient. We will definitely stop back here again.

Went to Betty's for the quaint decor & old historical downtown building. I had the fish (cod) sandwich that looked like it came out of a box in the freezer section of HyVee. The bun was twice the size of the cod piece & the coleslaw was good but runny. My husband had the soup & sandwich. Chilli was good,... More

Went for supper, place came highly recommended from friends. They were marginally busy but got seated immediately. The service is horrible, it took forever to get our drinks, which were warm by the time we received them. We waited for over an hour and a half for our food, but left before it came out. Which is to bad, since I... More

We stopped in after our first choice, The Jefferson, had a 45 minute wait on 10/10/2014. In hindsight a 2 hour wait would have been better that Betty Jo's. We ordered and the soda, water, chili and salad came pretty quick. The glass of chardonnay -- not so quick -- like 10-15 minutes. Then our dinners came out (steak tips)... More

Our food was good but the soup tasted like curdled milk (supposed to be chicken wild rice). Loved the free popcorn and cherry cokes.

Family of 3 adults visited early evening while visiting the area. Stopped in early evening for pizza.. Service was fine. I think it was a "Viking"; arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Restaurant was pretty quiet and not many customers. The pizza had the toughest crust I have ever experienced with a constructed pizza. Plenty of ingredients however. Should... More
