The food was fine, but I ordered my bacon crispy and it came regular. The egg whites were runny, over easy should be runny yolks, but the whites should be cooked.

We met at Timbers for a family reunion. I ordered the pan-fried Walleye and my son had the battered Walleye. Both were delicious. Both were very large portions and came with a choice of two sides.

We were looking for a place to eat a late lunch and found the Timbers around 3 p.m. and had an early dinner special. Ordered burgers and the broasted chicken, which was the best chicken ever! Found the coupon in the tourist booklet and got $5.00 off our dinner for three. Good choice for food cooked to order, slower than... More

This is your typical local restaurant. We had the soup and salad bar when it was first put out. Seems some items were left from the day before. Did not have the fresh look, even though we waited for them to finish setting up the salad bar. Men's bathroom needs lots of work.

We wanted a glass of wine before our meal, but the waitress gave us attitude. She said snippily that she didn't drink wine so she couldn't give us any advice to the wines they served. However she was behind the bar. She was rude and slow at serving us. The food was not bad, but certainly not worth the bad... More

The food is pretty good, but portion-wise, not worth the $$. The decor is quaint and the service is great, but nothing too exciting and Perkins would probably be better if you liked this type of food.

It's your basic family diner food. Nothing too extraordinary. Cheap breakfasts. Decent salad bar. They have a secluded meeting room which is nice and free.

They have a full menu. Had a late dinner. I had a taco salad that was very good. My daughter had the salad bar and she enjoyed it. The strawberry shortcake in the salad bar in the salad bar is a nice touch.

We decided to try this place after seeing it in an ad at our hotel saying that this is where the locals go, I wish we would have went somewhere else. Our waitress was't bad, she came to our table and asked us what we would like to drink and took our order. My wife ordered the prime rib and... More

We should have turned around as soon as we hit the door. We heard customers complain about their food to two different waitresses. We noticed a couple next to us who had the senior citizen portion of steak and it was flat and dry and didn't really even resemble a steak. My husbands hamburger was raw. I was sick the... More
