Wayzata prices in farm country?

Let me first say that I really like Lola's. When we lived about 10 miles from Lola's we would visit 6x/year. Now that we're 15+ miles away we only visit 2-3x/year. The inside décor really makes you feel like you're in an old fish camp/lodge of some sort - wood walls, nautical paintings, plank... read more

Ate here twice in July and enjoyed the view both times! First time had fish and chips that were very good and the second time had the artisan cheese plate with Lobster Bisque soup. The cheese plate was fantastic and had local specialty cheeses - a really great way to taste some of the local (state of Minnesota) foods. The... More

Made reservations for my husband's birthday. We had asked for an outside table and one was about to turn over but they refused to let us wait for that table. The scotch was watered down, my Merlot, a house wine turned out to be $12. a glass and with two, it turned out to be more than my entree, which... More

I have been here both in the Winter and the Summer. The food is great, service was fast and efficient, and the all around vibe was good. Best recommendation: the Baileys and Coffee at the end of the meal. Such a great ending to a hectic day.

Had a nice lunch on the deck overlooking Lake Waconia. The fish tacos were good as was the fish and chips. Really liked their homemade chips. Service was prompt although we were there at 1:30 with not too many patrons. They have a nice bar is you must be inside.

I have had wonderful experiences at this restaurant!!! And then I've had mediocre experiences. I believe it is over priced, ($30 for walleye ?!?) and they are not even full fillets? I absolutely LOVE the mussels appetizers, those have never disappointed when we order those. The atmosphere has never disappointed. I will always go back, the aesthetics of Lola's on... More

I have eaten at Lola's several times and I don't come back for the quality of the food. Sorry to say it! The deck and the atmosphere is always great but the food and whatever chef they currently have on staff is "missing the boat". We had the buffalo shrimp, a newer item on the menu, and it was tough!... More

We ate at Lola's last weekend, and while the place is beautiful, right on the lake, the food was terrible. I had the "walleye" which was a brick of breaded fish with no taste that looked like it came right out of a freezer pack. Even with lemon and tartar it was terrible, and they charged $30. My wife had... More

In the summer in Minnesota, outdoor dining is a must whenever possible! What a great deck with a view of the lake to enjoy a lovely meal. We arrived right at 3 so ordered off the bar menu (lunch was over). Delicious!

The atmosphere here is like none other. Big garage style glass doors line the wall that open up to let the wonderful lake air and sunshine in. The place has a real genuine feel to it. I can only really recommend one item on the menu because it is all I order! The Clam Chowder. Just go and order it.... More
