Everything about our visit was average. Service, food, environment. Is nice to be on the river and also pull up to the dock in the summer.

And we were pleasantly surprised. The sausage appetizer w/ raspberry jelly, cream cheese, and crusty bread was wonderful. My wife had the Baby Red potato app, and it was also delicious. Plenty of GOM merch to buy if you're a fan. Great view of the river. We will stop again for the food on our next trip.

This was my wife's and my first time having supper here. We weren't disappointed. Dawn had shrimp and I had a modified jambalaya dish. My jambalaya was spose to be on rice but I asked for it on pasta. Nice and spicy. Good flavor. My only critique is the dish was watery instead of a nice sauce. The creamy soup... More

The service was very good and I love that it's on the river. It has an interesting history on the back of the menu. The walleye sandwich was very good. I recommend checking it out. It's one of the scenes in the movie Grumpy Old Men.

We hit Slippery's on a sunny weekday for lunch and ordered basic dishes. I had the stew and my wife had the chicken salad. Neither one was memorable. We did enjoy the atmosphere and the service was outstanding.

I had the rib basket and my wife had shrimp linguine Alfredo. That was just to spicy. They took it back and we ordered the shrimp basket. That was good. The ribs also are good. The drinks mixed just right and the View of the river and the boats going by make it a nice place. The menu has a lot of the movie grumpy old... Visited on oct. 11, food was pretty good, and our server was really nice, but I asked another server if we could go to the gift shop. On the outside door, there is a sign to ask and they will assist you. Well, since it was my 1st time there, i had no idea how to get to the gift... More

Returning from the Twin Cities to the east coast we decided to take a detour down the River Road to Louisiana. This was our first stop, to have a lunch and continue with our trip, but the nature of my work required me to remain available on the phone for the next several hours. So, we ate and had a... More

don't look downstream too much! The river flows from the north to the south and tends to explore east and west as it goes!

We were lucky enough to be able to sit out on the patio on a balmy summer evening and watch the people and boats go by. The hamburgers were tasty and very filling. We also enjoyed the potato side dish. Our service was great.
