Paddlers' paradise

If you're paddling on the river then drop in. You can pull your boat right up and sit outside whilst keeping an eye on all your stuff. Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. They even topped up our water bottles for us!

I live close and stop at Slipperys about every other week. I love the view from patio or outside seating, great place to watch the river and have a few drinks. But the quality of food varies. On Sunday, had a great baked chicken meal, but yesterday had a terrible chicken salad croissant. There were more onions and celery then... More

Went to Slipperys because GF is a fan of the movies. We were touring the Great River Road and were in the area. Will say nice view on patio, service fair, food seemed decent. Inside seating did not look appealing. So my gripe... my GF says lets split one of the small plates on the menu. Since we both had... More

Nasty, dirty, too long a wait. The only thing they have going is the view if you can get a table on the river.

We drove to Slippery's, but would love to arrive by boat. It's a nice, casual place with good food and good prices. I recommend the hamburgers!

Fun and beautiful at sunset. the mosquitos didn't have it easy ruining the moments. I may have to send for a tee shirt, my biggest regret.

Great seating right off the river. Friendly staff and pretty decent food. Very popular spot, so get the outside seating as soon as you can.

We went there because the movie Grumpy Old Men was filmed there. They have good food and a gift shop. All views are right on the water- The Mississippi River. The restaurant is very close to the National Eagle Museum.

The service was good. Our food was what you would expect but we all enjoyed what we ordered. Only thing I didn't care for was the cole slaw.
