My wife and I stopped in to enjoy an excellent breakfast meal. We both ordered an omelet that were baked to perfection. We also go to enjoy a great variety of coffee beverages. I enjoyed a cappuccino and my wife had a great dark chocolate mocha. Great service and fun atmosphere. While traveling up the north from Duluth, MN give... More

My family and I stopped at the Vanilla Bean Cafe on the way home from Grand Marais. I can honestly say that their corned beef hash was among the best that I've had. The coffee was wonderful as well. The prices were slightly on the high end of what I'm used to for the type of food served, but I... More

This place was recommended to us and they supposedly have great burgers, but we went for breakfast. The hubby ate overpriced average eggs, bacon, and home fries. I had a ham, cheese, and mushroom omelet. That was worth the price for sure. I have to warn you, this place is not cheap, but if you like a baked omelet, it's... More

This is a REALLY nice diner. The only problem was that I couldn't finish the large sized oven baked omelet and made a pig of myself in the process. Should've gone for the smaller option. A very nice joint.

We were pleasantly surprised with this café for breakfast. Great menu options and friendly wait staff. My husbands portion was a little small, so the waitress brought out a little something extra for him. Menu incorporates local flare.

The homemade soups and deserts are excellent. The service is very friendly. We rode the train from Duluth and were told about several small restaurants. I could eat here again. The prices are very reasonable.

This is a nice little mom-and-pop restaurant in Two Harbors. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and there are always locals who can give you pointers on hiking trails and things to see in the area. It's a nice place to spend an hour or two. :)

Stopped here twice on the way to Grand Marais. The 1st time we sampled the baked omelet which was delicious & occupied the full plate. Be sure to "share" it. Coffee is also tremendous. The 2nd time we shared the club sandwich with cranberry mayo on cranberry bread. Yummy! And the pecan caramel break pudding was oh soooo good!!! The... More

Wow, the oven baked omelet was enormous. I couldn't finish it. My wife had the Scandanavian breakfast, which was quite tasty. Quaint space, great food, great service.
