My husband had a piece of banana cream pie, and I had a giant cinnamon role w frosting. Both to die for....We had our picnic lunch w pie during our hike to mount oberg loop, so we burned off the delicious calories. I am not a pie person, so I was glad there were options. It looks like the nonpie... More

Had a great hamburger and fries here. But it is all about the pie in this little 60's style restaurant. I was in luck as they had my favorite , sour cream raisin this day. The waitress told me it was the first time she had seen it and she worked there for two years! It was yummy, a bit... More

Happy staff (except for young hostess, had a bad day?) ; very tasty foods; clean, and hummingbirds outside. Great experience. Only disappointment was no lemon meringue for hubby.

On a previous trip thru the upper midwest my husband fell in love with pasties. He thinks the ones at Betty's are some of the best he has ever had, we actually had to come back the next day so he could try both the beef and chicken. I am not such a fan, but found plenty of other items... More

We were told by a friend that we have to stop here. Every time we went by the line was out the door. We did finally stop for breakfast. Even tho there wasn't a line out the door the wait was still 30 minutes. (The eating area is small) The service was good. They were all very nice. The food... More

We stopped in for breakfast. We'd been there a couple times before, only to get pie to go. Happy we dined - wait time was minimal and the service and food were great. Got beautiful pieces of pie to go. One thing - they need to get salsa! :)

Betty's Pies is just north of the town of Two Harbors along the North Shore of Lake Superior - only about a half hour drive north of Duluth. This is an old fashioned dinner with good food, but the highlight is the pie. Betty's has a variety of pies, at least a dozen, including fruit and cream pies. If you're... More

Meh. It was a diner type place. Service was good, except the hostess seemed very down and didn't seem happy. Pie was average and dinner was ok. Hubby got fish and chips and I got pastie, which is basically chicken pot pie fillings in a calzone crust. It was good, don't grit me wrong. It just wasn't great and we... More

We had heard many stories about Betty's Pies, and they were correct. Some of the best pie that we've had.

The pie was amazing, but the egg salad sandwich was so fresh and tasty. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the down home feel on our hiking trip.
