Amazing Burgers and herring

During our last visit to the north shore we stopped here twice. The fresh herring was very good. On our final visit we ordered their specialty burgers (Rajun Cajun & Blue). My wife and I agree these were one of the best burgers we have had anywhere in the US or abroad. I'd rank it above the... read more

True Up North culture. Locally recommended. More bar than resturant. Good burgers ($5 at lunch!) and strong drinks. Chat w the bartender, laugh with locals, play a round of PacMan or fuseball and thank the chef when she clears your plates. Wear your comfy jeans n favorite sweatshirt n you'll fit in fine. It was cold the day we were... More

We enjoyed a lunch there. I had the fish & chips which were good, and my husband had a burger & fries. Everything tasted great. Service was very good. Lots of places to park.

We enjoyed our first evening meal at the Earthwood Motel's restaurant that we went back our second night in Two Harbours. The restaurant is only a few minutes drive from the Country Inn of Two Harbours where we stayed and was recommended by the receptionist. And we're so glad she did as we had done some research and never came... More

We had the fish and chips. We also had a jalapeno pepper jack onion burger. Sooooooooo good! We had sides of coleslaw (homemade), beer battered fries, and an appetizer of broccoli bites. The cooks and waitress were very descriptive of how much greatness they put into their creations. Prices for drinks and food are very reasonable. The Earthword inn blew... More

Great food, strong drinks, a restaurant full of friendly locals and the statue of Pierre, the voyager. What else would you want?

The rooms are freshly renovated, clean and fairly comfortable. I would stay here again. It is a short distance from the edge of town so the only place within walking distance is the bar across the parking lot but they do serve food. The bar is also where you check into the motel which can be challenging if you are... More

My fiancee and I made the trip from Duluth to see the North Shore and decided to stop in for some food. To our unlike most Bar/Restaurants that we have been to the food was made with a lot of love and I was finding myself wanting to try more of the menu. We shared the Breaded mushrooms which were... My husband and I visited the Earthwood Inn based on reviews we read on Trip Advisor. I was really looking forward to a great burger. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered a Patty Melt, and while the 1/2 lb. size of the burger was impressive, it failed to deliver on flavor and moisture. The burger was very dry and dull.... More

The motel rooms are all newly remodeled, each with it's own unique theme, super-cute and super-clean. The spacious bar/restaurant is a haven for locals, steeped in history...But also with a friendly staff, and great food that's reasonably priced, and nice ambient music from an excellent sound system...And they feature great live music acts on occasion. It's really easy to feel... More
