Servie was good and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Good serving sizes and the best pie of any place we have been to!

Needed a quick lunch while bumming in Two Harbors MN so, like we usually do, we tried a local cafe versus the chain. Seating was quick and service was fast. Saw they had custard rhubarb pie on the menu, so our meal centered around that! Pie was pretty good, would have it again in a heartbeat. A little tart like... More

This is your awesome local diner food, at least for breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly, hashbrowns were absolutely what you'd expect (yummy greasy hashbrowns!). Decor didn't tickle my fancy, and staff wasn't overly nice (they weren't rude by any stretch either, just not in your face cheeful/chipper), but they were very speedy, kitchen was fast, and food was awesome. Both... More

If you like the feel of a small town diner, stop here. Less of the tourist crowd/feel. Home cooking, large portions and great prices. Friendly staff as well!

We stopped for lunch here in Two Harbors on our way to Grand Marais, and the meal was good enough to warrant a stop on our way home, too. I had the French dip and also the Rueben. Both sandwiches were very good and filled very generously. My traveling companions had burgers and hot beef sandwiches, and these also were... More

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The hash browns were over cooked & greasy, the salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with some tomatoes that were not ripe. Eggs were ok. There was only one person to take orders, deliver meals, refill drinks and receive payments for the meals. She ran the entire time we were there.... More

This was a standard place to have breakfasts on our 25 years of yearly trisp to stay in Two Harbors. However, after the previous owner's death we found it lost it's good service and quaint appeal. After the last experience we had--snide, oblivious waitress who couldn't admit she got orders wrong, forcing us to order and pay twice to get... More

"Hole in the wall" diner. The food was average, though the portions were quite large. The prices are decent considering you are on the North Shore. The service was fair (felt a little like intruders in a hometown diner), but it was OK.

The place kept buzzing wth locals. That's usually a good sign. Husband had breakfast and was good. I had the lunch special, breaded pork sandwhich & Chicken Dumpling soup. Very good. Quick friendly service.
