We stopped for lunch here in Two Harbors on our way to Grand Marais, and the meal was good enough to warrant a stop on our way home, too. I had the French dip and also the Rueben. Both sandwiches were very good and filled very generously. My traveling companions had burgers and hot beef sandwiches, and these also were... More

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The hash browns were over cooked & greasy, the salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with some tomatoes that were not ripe. Eggs were ok. There was only one person to take orders, deliver meals, refill drinks and receive payments for the meals. She ran the entire time we were there.... More

This was a standard place to have breakfasts on our 25 years of yearly trisp to stay in Two Harbors. However, after the previous owner's death we found it lost it's good service and quaint appeal. After the last experience we had--snide, oblivious waitress who couldn't admit she got orders wrong, forcing us to order and pay twice to get... More

"Hole in the wall" diner. The food was average, though the portions were quite large. The prices are decent considering you are on the North Shore. The service was fair (felt a little like intruders in a hometown diner), but it was OK.

The place kept buzzing wth locals. That's usually a good sign. Husband had breakfast and was good. I had the lunch special, breaded pork sandwhich & Chicken Dumpling soup. Very good. Quick friendly service.

Recommended by the receptionist at the Country Inn and they had good food with excellent service. The potato chip cookies were delicious.

On Sundays they only serve breakfast, which originally disappointed us. The omelets were very good (taco and mile high), pancakes were big and tasty and eggs and sausage good too. Overall we'd hive it a 4.5 out of 5 (still wish I could have gotten a sandwich).

If you want a classic breakfast this is the place. No Lattes or buckwheat pancakes here. Just the classics done well. Very nice service too!

We had no problem with service. One visit was on a weekday morning and not crowded. The other was a Sunday morning and crowded. We both had omelets and hash browns and English Muffin bread, really tasty.

We had breakfast here. The place was busy but we got a table right away. The waitress was right there and took our order. The food was good, not great but good. The place is typical small town so don't go in expecting over the top. But a very good place for a standard breakfast
