My wife and I spent the weekend at the Larsmont Cottages and decided to experience the Chef's Table. We had never experienced any type of meal like this and it was quite possibly the best meal I have ever had. It was a 6 course meal that was created by the chefs that day. I must say my favorite part... More

Food was good. Server was friendly but forgetful. Brought our entrees with no mention of the soup we had ordered, but she didn't add it to the bill either. Large wine list, but there was not one even remotely familiar wine on the list. We asked for a Zin, but there wasn't anything on the list. The Merlot was fine.... More

My husband and I ate here on our way to Two Harbors. I had the burger with some bacon and cheese on it and he had a breakfast burger. The name sounds like a relaxing place to go and eat but we were the only ones in there and it took forever to get our food. I just didn't feel... More

In Europe you can sit for an hour or two after your meal is served. At Ledge Rock Grille you sit for an hour from the time you are seated at 8 PM until you even get a salad. Then the entree is served 5 minutes after the salad. The atmosphere is nice, no doubt about that. The server was... More

I ate at the restaurant twice, each time Fair at best. On night by dining partner had a ribeye steak that was so full of grizzle it was inedible. She is not the type to say anything so she paid for an inedible steak. We shared a steak the first night, it was a filet, it was very good and... More

We came here for brunch on a Tuesday and the food was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere. Service was slow but friendly. I would definitely return.

Had a dinner here while staying at Larsmont Cottages. Disappointing fish, lathered with a too-rich sauce. Vegetables overloaded with butter but bot much else for flavor. Breakfast better, especially the real maple syrup. The dining room, though, is very pleasant, with a great view of the lake. But you'd be much better off going just down the road to the... More

I honestly did not think the restaurant was worth all the hype I have heard about. We had a great waitress who was a lot of fun. I think it was overpriced, but being on resort grounds and the only restaurant near the resort you will expect to pay higher prices. Didn't care for the bbq chicken pizza, pretty blah.... More

I've been to this restaurant twice over the past few months and both times the experiences were excellent. The food is fresh and local and the chefs are very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. The staff are kind and attentive and while the dining room looks kind of fancy (white linnens, blue glassware, etc.) it really is a... More

This restaurant is at a resort just a short drive from either Duluth or Two Harbors and a pleasant change from the in-town options. The host greeted us and was friendly and kind. We were seated and our server promptly took our drink orders and filled our request for a bit of bread before we ordered (we were hungry). We... More
