We were here on a Sunday evening on our way north. A lot of locals in the establishment. We were waited on promptly and they took care of us nicely. It was a little noisy but everyone was happy. We had fish and chips and the Irish dip along with Smithwicks. All was good.

Place was almost empty, had a limited menu due to the tourist train and still took an hour for hot dogs and coneys. Bartender/server have no warning that they were slow. Had to be asked for refills, forgot to bring them out. Pretty sure all they had to do was boil hotdogs spoon on some canned chili and throw some... More

Who knew an irish pub would have delicious pizza. We were there with another couple and everything we ordered was delicious. The bacon cheeseburger pizza was absolutely amazing!! Don't forget to ask for peanuts, they are a free super secret appetizer.

Please don't come here unless you have a couple hours of downtime. I was there for dinner with only two other groups of people and maybe five people at the bar and it was dreadfully slow. It took the waitress over five minutes to refill a water glass she had taken and then after we were done eating she didn't... More

We were looking for a casual, fun place for dinner and found Dunnigans on the way to Two Harbors Lighthouse. The outdoor sign indicated "Great Food" in an Irish Pub. Sounded perfect! However, their dinner menu consists of only deep fried foods (appetizers and fish and/or shrimp baskets) and pizza - no sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, soups, etc. I was... More

Decided to stop here, so glad we did. Has great beer and irish whiskey selection. Irish pizza was really really good. Overall kinda a local joint, great music on the juke box. Someone was playing great jazz really made the atmosphere. Service was friendly though not real speedy would love to hang out again.

My wife and I stopped here after hiking part of the Superior Hiking Trail. There is a great beer selection and the food was pretty good too. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance was Irish.

The better half and I happened upon Dunnigan's on a day trip to Two Harbors. It is off the beaten path of the old hwy 61 in the business district. A little corner pub but great food and great people! They use actual real ham on their chicken and ham sandwich on these delicious soft rolls. So good and the... More
