Cheescurds, rootbeer floats, and the best friscoburger brought to you by a cheerful waitress. The only thing missing is roller skates. After lunch we played a round of mini golf behind the restaurant. Fun break in the day.

This little place will take you back in time to the '50's. The food is delicious authentic Drive-In food. Poodle skirts and window trays make the experience complete.

Everything was so yummy, including the deep fried green beans! Great menu with lots of fun choices. You can order their delicious home made root beer in a frosty mug, too!

Owners take pride in this place. Historical signage in minigolf building and fresh paint being applied to drive in building points to that. Food is okay. Root beer is Great! And served in frosty mugs, too (skip the paper cup!!)

My family and I make our annual trek to Taylors Falls to see the Fall leaves and to eat at The Drive In. The Drive In has carhops, trays that balance on a half-down window and is a burgers/fries place that has HOMEMADE rootbeer. It is a blast from the past. Their burgers are small (but tasty) and individually priced... More

Four of us stopped for lunch while traveling. We expected unique menu items, but even though some sandwiches had unique names, they were really just plain burgers with a combo of regular toppings. The root beer was good, but average, not at all like Dorothy's root beer. We ate outside instead of in our car, and we had to be... More

Found this drive-in restaurant by accident on our way to Taylor's Falls. Wow! The best malts ever! Had two cherry malts! The staff was friendly and the service was fast. There's a mini golf next door along with convenient rest rooms. Great place to eat!

Patty Melt was a major disappointment. Bland burger on white toast. Not even any cheese. Onion rings good tho' . Pricey.

Let's do the time-warp again! We come here after a day at the Wild Mountain Waterslides to relax and refuel. It's perfect. Big shout-out to the staff who know their stuff _cold_ and can recite with nary a pause the half-dozen+ fixings on two-dozen burgers and dishes. And the root beer....ah, the frosty mug, Frostop root beer...**strong**, with notes of... More

My husband and I recently stopped here for lunch, while spending the afternoon touring the areas local wineries. My husband had read about this place before we stopped. When we drove up we were a little skeptical, but then we saw the back side of the restaurant/the patio area and decided to give it a try. The food was very... More
