The Dock is a place to eat. It has panoramic views of the river at boating level. The deck is even better in season. The food and drinks are first class. They are well known for a wonderful dining experience. The venue is as good as the menu. Downtown Stillwater is as good as it gets.

Great steak salad and view of St Croix River. Staff very polite. Parking can be a little crazy. Great bar.

Our son lives in St. Paul. We visit him several times a year, and we visit the Dock Cafe whenever we are there. The food, the service, and the view are all great. My husband enjoys the burger, as does my son. I enjoy the very creative salads on the menu. The dressings are made in house. We have also... More

We really enjoy going to the Dock Cafe in Stillwater. Last night we had one of our best meals ever in a restaurant. My husband had the special which was prime rib. He said he thought it was the best seasoned prime rib he has ever had. I had my usual which is the black and blue tuna. It is... More

The Dock Cafe has a lovely outdoor seating area that is available when the weather permits. There is a great view of the Stillwater Life Bridge, the St. Croix River, and the bluffs of Wisconsin. The menu has not changed in years. That's the good news and the not-so-good news. (By now, I've got it memorized. I only need ask... More

I have to admit it. We go there for the view. Food is pretty good. Parking and congestion in downtown Stillwater is terrible. We have been there several times, always in warm weather, always on the back patio. Our experience overall has been fine. Just remember that you aren't there for gourmet cuisine and that you can get better bar... More

A group of 19 went there for lunch on Oct 18th. It was busy but not anything that should have been a problem. We ordered drinks and a number of people said the drinks were very weak. We're not alcoholics by any means but the bloody marys were said to taste odd, one thought it had a dishwater taste, two... More

We had a window seat at the Dock Cafe, and the view across the St. Croix River was absolutely stunning. My wife had a bowl of wild rice soup, and a walleye sandwich. She said her soup was okay and the fish was a bit greasy with way too much bun. I had the French Dip, which was okay, though... More

A great experience overall! Food and service excellent, views spectacular. I recommend sitting by the window where you can look over the scenic view of water, trees with foliage turning in fall, the bridge in the distance, a boat occasionally passing by. This is what we did on a cool, but sunny day (October 7), when my 25-year-old daughter and... More

A little chilly in October to sit outside, but inside everyone can have a window view of the river and the bridge. Menu is varied and specializes in fresh ingredients. Chicken wild rice soup is first rate. Staff warm and welcoming.
