Gigantic portions! Tiny place...full house!

Good food and service and a warm "north woods cabin" atmosohere must be part of what keeps this little gem of a place hopping! We were there at 4:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed full by 5:00. Unless you get her early, I'd plan for a wait! A couple of tips/notes... The tables are... read more

Although once this great restaurant was hidden from Hwy 36 by elevation but the approach to the new bridge has put it in plain view. This is our go-to spot for great food in Stillwater. Never a disappointment. Come early or expect a wait for seating but the congenial environment helps the time pass quickly.

Since this is not downtown, it is more of a local's secret. But not a very well kept secret, since the place is almost always busy. It has a great Steak House / Supper Club feel to it. It is friendly, noisy, crowded and just plain fun! The food and the drinks are great! Many items have a Greek flair... More

The place is always rockin' busy and my husband and I like to sit at the bar for cocktails and our meal for very personalized service! The food is always delicious and portion perfect. Enjoy!

Always have had great food here. The only real drawback is how tightly packed you feel at your table. I guess that becasue most people tha tlive nearby know how good this place is.

So my wife and I were looking for a quiet romantic night out and decided to try this place out. Figuring that the food sounded slightly upscale and figuring the atmosphere would be nicer. when we arrived we had a wait of 10 minutes. I am a big guy and the tables are close together...so getting around was fun as... More

My husband and I frequently went to Phil's. Weekends are out due to the crowds and noise but they do accept reservations on weekdays. In the past, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Although it is a log cabin, the food was delicious with great sophisticated seafood specials. Last time we went and tonight, we were so disappointed.... More

Looking at th this place from the street it looks like a small log cabin. It's a big log cabin and the food is excellent. This was our 2nd visit and we had Greek chicken, stuffed trout, and steaks. The service was beyond expectations and the prices were so reasonable. On the downside this is not the quietest place we've... More

We had a large group today that HS an early dinner at 430. My wife and I have been to Phil's more than 20 times in then last 5 years and this was the first time I can say I was not thoroughly impressed. Our Lemon Drop and Extra Dry Belvedere Up w a Twist were SPOT on. With our... More
