Great dinners. Lots of choices. Excellent service. A little tight seating and a bit dark in back of restaurant. Get a reservation.

Went with three other couples to celebrate Birthdays. Food is excellent. Duck was a favorite as well as walleye. Served with choices of sides. Excellent service and it is hidden away, but locals all know about this special place.

All I can say is wow! We had the Duck confit for an appetizer. I would have died happy with this alone. This was an anniversary dinner so we splurged on a Filet Mignon and Walleye. I have never left a place so full. On top of all the great food, everyone from the bartenders, the servers, and the hosts... More

I read a lot of reviews and kept wanting to come here, but somehow didn't quite make it. I didn't exactly know how to find it, it was closed on Monday, all kinds of lame reasons, but I finally made it (just now). In a word... No a word won't do it. Packed on a Tuesday night, kind of says... More

The food, drinks, and service were all great but the host was a bit of a snob. This was a good night out for us, but it could have been great if this host had some personality.

This was my first time here and I loved it! It reminds me of those old supper clubs but has a menu with a mix of classics and new dishes. I had the pan roasted walleye which was cooked perfectly and was a hearty portion. I also had the pear salad which I would get again as well. Don't miss... More

If you're not from Stillwater or are just passing by, you'd probably pass this place driving to get downtown. The food was excellent and our servers were very accommodating. This place is a gem and I want to bring my parents here - I had steak, side of potatoes, and a side salad. They have a wide variety of entrees... More

Having left the area 18 years ago, we hadn't been there for some time. Celebrated a graduation there recently and found the food and service still outstanding. Will be going back this week with friends for an anniversary celebration.

Phil's Hideaway looks like a cute little log cabin and I have never seen it advertised and would never have seen it if it hadn't been recommended to us. It is impossible to get in on a weekend evening without an hour plus wait. Reservations are taken Sunday through Thursday - we made a reservation for a Tuesday evening and... More
