If you're not from Stillwater or are just passing by, you'd probably pass this place driving to get downtown. The food was excellent and our servers were very accommodating. Having left the area 18 years ago, we hadn't been there for some time. Celebrated a graduation there recently and found the food and service still outstanding. Will be going back this week with friends for an anniversary celebration.

Phil's Hideaway looks like a cute little log cabin and I have never seen it advertised and would never have seen it if it hadn't been recommended to us. It is impossible to get in on a weekend evening without an hour plus wait. Reservations are taken Sunday through Thursday - we made a reservation for a Tuesday evening and... More

It may be small and crowded , but it is still worth the trip out hwy 36 nearly to stillwater to find this place. Food is interesting and different. My husband had the fish covered in crab and white asperagus which he loved. And the duck salad which he also found amazing. I had the meditteranian platter which was so... More

The food that the chef kicks out in a very short time is truly amazing. Tonight it was all about the NY strip and salmon, well that AND the carrot cake and turtle desserts! Seating is cozy, noise level is high, but in the end seriously who cares?!?

I can't believe we haven't reviewed this our very, very very special place to go!! Whether it is simply the two of us, with friends, family, it is a treasure to be sure! We have been going here for more than 25 years and in that time never a bad experience. The food is delicious no matter what is ordered,... More

Good food and service and a warm "north woods cabin" atmosohere must be part of what keeps this little gem of a place hopping! We were there at 4:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed full by 5:00. Unless you get her early, I'd plan for a wait! A couple of tips/notes... The tables are really, really... More

Although once this great restaurant was hidden from Hwy 36 by elevation but the approach to the new bridge has put it in plain view. This is our go-to spot for great food in Stillwater. Never a disappointment. Come early or expect a wait for seating but the congenial environment helps the time pass quickly.

Since this is not downtown, it is more of a local's secret. But not a very well kept secret, since the place is almost always busy. It has a great Steak House / Supper Club feel to it. It is friendly, noisy, crowded and just plain fun! The food and the drinks are great! Many items have a Greek flair... More
