Stillwater is one of our favorite places to visit. We have visited several times over the years and this time we bought family who had never before experienced Stillwater's charm. We chose Freight House as our place for lunch and were not disappointed. It was a gorgeous late-summer day, perfect for outdoor dining. Located close to the Lift Bridge, we... More

Decided to take a trip to Stillwater and after a walk around ended up here for lunch. Had a really good view of the river on the patio and enjoyed a couple of drinks in the sun. Then had the crab and the crawfish for lunch. Was a very messy lunch to eat but the crab was delicious! The server... More

We stopped for dinner on a Friday evening, arriving just as happy hour was ending. We took advantage of the 2 for 1 drinks. I chose a vodka lemonade, which was VERY weak & watery, not even a good plain lemonade. We ordered a salad & shredded beef sandwich to share. It was okay, not great. The server brought our... More

Had to ask the host to fetch our waiter. We sat outside but there seemed to be plenty of staff around. We did happen to get there just before shift change, but still....Even though it was Logjam Days the deck area was overly busy in the mid-afternoon. Appetizer portions were plentiful and tasty. 4 of us enjoyed each of the... More

The service was extremely slow. We had to ask for a drink we ordered multiple times before the server remembered to bring it, same thing with a refill on chips to go with the guac. On top of poor service, the burger I ordered was served with a moldy (green) bun. We didn't have to pay for it, but nothing... More

Sat forever and finally had to go and ask for service. Again took forever to get our food, appetizers finally came, and they were just ok. Then we got our food, I got the skinny chicken and sweet potato fries and so did my daughter in law, both of ours were cold and we had to send them back. Turns... More

Went with freinds with the intent to eat and drink the evening away. First round was $60 for drinks and food. After being there for 1 hour and ready to place a 2nd order we were told we had to spend $100 an hour or leave. Asked what it would be to sit at the deck rail and told $25... More

If you want just a hamburger and fries, food will be OK..... but this time we ordered the shrimp peel and eat for an appetizer. Have you ever had mushy shrimp?? Tasted like it was leftover from a few days ago. Horrible and no taste. My berry salad was good except they dumped a lot of oil over it. Supposed... More

Anna, our server was awesome! We were a large group (13) and she got all the orders right and was friendly and on the ball. Food was good. Music was good. Nice family outing and great view of the river. :-)

At here with a group of 8. We wanted a light meal since we had a banquet to attend later. It is standard pub/sport bar food but wasn't bad. We had the wings and 6 Walleye tacos. The tacos were the best of the meals any of us had. The Walleye was grilled and not fried. The service was just... More
