The food looks like typical bar fare, the sweet potato fries looked tasty. Maybe some tater tots. I haven't eaten there in a while because it is always mediocre. If you eat upstairs in the formal area it is better. Grab a spot at the outdoor bars, have an overpriced drink and enjoy some music. If you're hungry, go to... More

It had been 37 years since I last dined at Lord Fletcher’s, so while on a road-trip through Minnesota we made a slight detour to Minneapolis so that we could once again experience summer dining on Lake Minnetonka. When I lived in Minneapolis dining at Lord Fletcher’s was a regular event so there was some concern that over the years... More

The vibe here during the summer is fun, and the vibe/location is why you should go to Lord Fletchers…not for the food. The food on the deck is very average. The food upstairs in the restaurant is much better, but severely overpriced. Bottom line - go for the vibe, expect average food on the deck, expect much better (but overpriced)... More

If you visit Minneapolis, most will ask, "did you go to Fletchers?" It is THE place to go during the summer months for both visitors and locals. Located on Lake Minnetonka, Lord Fletchers is busting at the seams most weekends, but don't steer away because tables on the Wharf turn over frequently. Every weekend they have live entertainment along with... More

My husband and I were visiting Minneapolis and thought it would be nice to have a meal on Lake Minnetonka. It was a short drive from Bloomington where we were staying (25 Mins). We picked this restaurant based on reviews. When we arrived the sun deck was packed with people; apparently it was burger Mondays. We were interested in a... More

Eating out on the lively deck is the quintessential Lake Minnetonka experience. It is a total mix of people. Singles, families, young and old lounge lizards too. We scored a table on Memorial Day and the wharf was packed. They even had live music. Drinks were on Happy Hour and my beer was $2. Can't complain about overpriced drinks here.... More

Yesterday, my wife and I had lunch with my nephew and his girlfriend at Fletchers. We arrived early to avoid the rush as this famous lakeside eatery is extremely busy during the summer, especially over holiday weekends. When we arrived the staff let us know that we were a little early, and asked if we would like a cup of... More

Go to people watch and enjoy the boats. The food is fun but hasn't changed much in the last few years. Price is a bit higher then it show be but the show is good. Everyone from snobs to bikers are welcome as are family's. It's help to wear you gold, have a large watch and wear a bathing suit.... More

Lord Fletcher's has been a favorite on Lake Minnetonka for years. It has been consistent on food and drink, but the prices keep going up every year. Drinks are $6 on average and snack food runs about $12 on average (in the informal bar downstairs). The draw is the Lake crowd and people/boat watching. Can be a fun place, but... More

We visited on Friday, April 25, 2014 at noon. The lunch seating is in the lower level in the bar area. Warm spring day but too breezy to sit outside yet. Our wait staff was prompt and friendly. I ordered the walleye sandwich with fries. My wife had a turkey croissant sandwich. The food arrived in a timely manner. First... More
