Friendly Turkish Restaurant

Delicious lunch, fast service and fun chat with the owner. Brought back memories of great Turkish and Greek food on trips to those countries. Will definitely return often when in the area. Prices are very reasonable for portion size.

In the heart of Hamline University, it's "student pricing" but authentic Turkish cuisine, well flavored and reasonable sized servings. Take out or eat in, a "must" eat any time we are in town.

This is a great little Turkish restaurant. It is pretty basic but it features some very tasty Turkish food. it's ran by a husband and wife and they are very friendly and on a nice and quiet day they will probably be more than happy to spend quite a bit of time chatting and socializing with customers. The food is... More

Found this place on here (Tripadvisor) and saw that it had good reviews. Its a small place and has delicious food served quickly. We got lamb, beef, and chicken which was all full of flavor! The place is also clean and simple.

This restaurant was recommended to me last year. You can not judge the place by it's cover and it is definitely not fine dining. It is really casual. It has really excellent food that has been enjoyed by my family and many of our guests from all over the world actually and across age spectrums. Everyone does seem to like... More

I've been here a few times now. This is an extremely small, hole in the wall type place in Midway. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent (try the kufta!) and cooked to order. I'm not too familiar with Turkish cuisine, so a lot of the entrees seemed quite similar to other middle eastern places (gyros, etc) to me.... More

The owners are usually working and are very friendly and proud of their food. It is a very casual restaurant, but the food is excellent. We usually get the platter for two and we end up with leftovers.

Value-priced joint when I need my gyro fix. They don't skimp on the meat. If you dine in, they give you your own squeeze bottle of fresh-from the refrigerator tzatziki sauce! This is an informal place; quite small and can get loud with tightly packed diners and a kitchen that's right up front. During the school year you're fighting the... More

Don't be put off by the storefront appearance of this place. The Middle Eastern food served here is quite good and very reasonably priced. Their falafel are actually some of the best I've had anywhere. We also enjoyed the Dolma and chicken kabobs. They don't have a liquor license, however.

We went there because it was rated 4.5+ everywhere. Honestly I don't know what's worth 4.5 there. I love Mediterranean food and have tried a lot of them across the price spectrum. This was not the worst but way below average. Please avoid at all cost. If you are in area for Mediterranean food go to Walley's Falafel and Hummus... More
