Marvelous meal

Exploring St. Paul's "Union Station" we came across a wonderful Greek Cypriot restaurant. We had some nice wine and shared a couple of appetisers which was ample food. Having lived in the Balkans, I was impressed with the quality of the research into getting good food.

Christos (NOTE TO TRIP ADVISOR - the restaurant name does NOT have an apostrophe). A meal - an experience to remember! Scheduled for departure on Amtrak today, my companion and I elected to dine at this wonderful restaurant in Historic Union Depot. As though the Depot is not a treasure in itself, to have a crown jewel of a Greek... More

If you enjoy gyro's, Greek salad, or just Greek food in general, this is a great place to go for lunch. The remodeled depot makes for a fun backdrop as you enjoy a never ending Greek delicacies. If you are going to make a gyro, I'd ask your server for a full piece of bread instead of the cut up... More

Weather you are visiting at lunch and enjoying the buffet or you are partaking in an evening entree, the food delights the taste buds. The open feel of the dining space nestled in the historic Union Station makes any visit an occasion. Always check online before visiting as they close when hosting private events. It has been quite a few years since we've been to Christo's, so decided to check it out again. The food remains very tasty. I ordered the tomato basil soup and spanakopita. My husband had the garden salad and peppered pork chops. The salad was unremarkable - the typical pale red tomato slices. The chops were very good. The service... More

Their lunch buffet has all of the Greek favorites and baklava for desert. I am a fan of lamb gyros and the ones in the buffet do not disappoint. The location is inside Union Depot which I also enjoy.

Christo's lunch buffet is a treat for the senses. Situated inside the newly-restored, historic Union Depot, and completely accessible by skyway (a huge plus for winter months), Christo's offers a remarkable array of choices for lunch-goers. My wife and I truly appreciate the clear descriptions of ingredients--including meat and non-meat-based broths--on all of their buffet options. Tomato basil soup with... More

We met friends for cocktails and drinks at Christo's before an art exhibit. Christo's is located inside the Depot in downtown St. Paul, a space that has been updated and beyond its original splendor! Who cares what we ate or drank the setting was stupendous! The staff was very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Drinks and dinner were very reasonable. And... More

Was excited to try this location as we have had good experience at the Minneapolis restaurant over the years. This was a mini adventure for my partner’s birthday. We took the new metro Green Line light rail from Minneapolis to St. Paul to arrive at the beautiful Union Depot. The train was fun and it was interesting to experience the... More

We lucked into finding Christo's, and I'm so glad we did. Here's the short list of what you need know: Location: It's in the old Union Depot building. Gorgeous interior and really fun to be by the Amtrak station. The tables restaurant is in the huge entry hall area. It's so spacious and the ceilings are so high, it's almost... More
