Our server was arrogant and indifferent to his job. The two managers loved talking to a couple tables but basically ignored everyone else. It took 1 1/2 hours to finally get our entrees after I tracked down the server. He disappeared after that and sent over a manager, who blamed the kitchen, instead of taking any responsibility for their poor... More

It seemed to us if you are not a regular you don't matter at this restaurant. We drove across the Twin Cities to eat at this restaurant and what a waste of time! Our server left us sitting several times to chat with other customers and not once did he serve us and come back to check and see if... More

Not a wannabee, not make believe, not processed foods: Osteria Nonni is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Twin Cities featuring great food and an impressive selections of wines. Tucked away off of I-35E and Sibley Memorial Highway in the SW corner, this family-owned restaurant serves up scrumptious entrees and appetizers! Just to get a taste, linger over... More

We frequent i Nonni fairly often because it's close and they have a great happy hour. The service is great (especially Jay!). The wine list is decent, but they are pretty stingy with their pour of wine by the glass. Their calamari is the best in the cities (for fried calamari) and the burrata is delicious. The pasta is good,... More

My husband and I had a superb experience at I Nonni. Our waiter, Jay, was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. We tried a variety of items including the calamari, the arugula and honey crisp apple salad, the wild boar ragu, the lasagnette, the grilled lamb chops, and carrot cake with mascarpone. Everything we ate was excellent and we... More

Our friends who live in Minneapolis chose this restuarant during our visit. The decor is beautiful, the restuarant quiet si we could catch up with each others' lives, the service attentive, and the food superb. Three of us had the tasting menu which was smaller portions from three areas of the menu plus from the specials. I loved the octopus... More

This was our third visit to I Nonni for the four of us, and it gets better every time! The tasting menu is a bargain, at $45 for three courses (Antipasti, Primi, Secondi), but they are not little tasting portions, they are the regular menu items. As before, we couldn't begin to finish our courses. (Thank Heavens for to-go boxes.)... More

A group of 6 had dinner on the patio. Our server was condescending to say the least. I will say our food was excellent but can't get past the service. The Mosquitos drove us inside at the end of our meal. Inside some other server literally tossed dessert menus on our table in the bar and disappeared. We had to... More

This is a great Italian and Happy Hour as well. A little early since happy hour is from 4 to 6pm but very popular with the people who live nearby. Everything is good and priced well. The pizza is very thin crust. Everything on this menu is excellent. Regardless of how many in your group order a number of dishes... More
