We've heard this place is great for happy hour and were not disappointed. Decided to go here for a mini-celebration and had a great time at the bar. Jake took great care of us and we enjoyed his company and service. Very friendly folks at the bar, one of the reasons we love to sit there. We ordered the 2... More

Our meal was incredible. Roasted breast of duck ... as good as you'll find anywhere. The oysters on the half shell were also quite good. With a glass of wine for the two of us and a shared dessert, expect your bill to be over $100...but for special occasions, this is special food. Now why do I say there's room... More

This restaurant has a very nice French ambiance. The service is excellent and the food is a mix of traditional French and at a very high level mixed in with a New World touch here and there. The wine list is extensive and well chosen with traditional French items from virtually all the major wine regions of France and other... More

Stopped here on a whim-- had a delightful meal with good wine and prompt service. The short ribs were very succulent and the oysters were a nice starter. Great value. If I'm ever in St Paul again, I'd definitely give the full tasting menu a try.

If I had any complaint, it would be that there are too many tables packed into a tight space. Everything else about this restaurant was fabulous!

I've eaten at Meritage a few times a year over the past many years. The food and service has always been excellent. The most recent visit was on a Sunday evening after a play with a group of friends. I had the Sunday Supper 3 course prix fixe which was wonderful. It has been great to see this restaraunt expand... More

My wife and I along with two friends had an amazing night at Meritage. We are all foodies and love enjoying multi-course meals at great restaurants. Meritage did not disappoint! Our 3.5 hours disappeared and we were never rushed by our server Rollie. We started with perfect cocktails, 3 types of west coast oysters, starters (escargot, veggie puff pastry, foie... More

Lovely representation of fine French dining. Oyster ,wine and dessert selections superb. Duck presentation too rare for one guest but another felt it to be cooked perfectly, rare vs. well done. Our waiter, Rawley, was top notch.

Consistently amazing good food; warm and festive ambiance; upbeat and informed wait staff, and a very balanced menu--the right combination of innovative and classic; sanguine and savory; comfortable and sophisticated. St. Paul is vey lucky to have this culinary gem at its center.
