I got turned around in downtown Minneapolis and ended up on the UM campus which is next to Izzy's. I went in and could tell this place was going to be great. I ordered the Midnight Storm, which is graham cracker ice cream with peanut butter and chocolate junks. I had it made into a malt. Oh it was fabulous.... More

This amazing ice cream is made in store and tastes fabulous! Great for kids or as a date night. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and there isn't a lot of seating inside but it's worth the ice cream.

They have a very wide selection of flavours to satisfy everyone taste, i would recommend to start with the normal flavours like vanilla and chocolat, then twist it up a bit with the rest if the flavours. Just make sure u skip lunch if u want to sample a bunch of flavours.

No matter where I travel I always seek out ice cream. Izzy's was very good, I love the scoop sizes. The butter pecan had lots of pecans and the mountain spice is yummy. We leave tomorrow and I plan to get a double scoop before we head to the airport.

I love Izzy's creative flavors and the charm of their "izzy" scoop. NIce location and atmosphere as well.

After dinner by my hotel my group walked to Izzy's for dessert. We arrived around 7:30 pm and the place was crowded. Luckily there was no shortage of employees to assist us. There are so many choices! I must have tried five or so and never received a dirty look from the employees. The fruit based sherbet/sorbet was like eating... More

I always stop here on my way through town. Whatever flavor they say it tastes like, IT DOES. I also love their Izzy scoop option to try new flavors. Keep being awesome, Izzy's!

We first heard about Izzy's when a local restaurant featured one of their flavors as one of the restaurant's desserts. The store is easy to find, and they carry a great variety of flavors. We tried five flavors between the two of us (thanks, Izzy scoop!), and all were wonderful. The only critical comment is about the store - it... More

Drove in from Eden Prairie while on vacation just to have the dessert and in response to the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Had the izzy scoops and sampled 5 different ice creams. Like a beer flight only ice cream!!! The waffle cones were tasty and homemade. Had the mystery flavor of sweet corn was amazed at how good it... More

Odd shaped place with a highly efficient system for serving ice cream to a lot of people in a short time. Good thing too, since a line is pretty much the norm at Izzy's. Of course the line is because of the ice cream. Wonderfully tasty, nice texture, creamy and a wonderful assortment of special flavors in addition to the... More
