Nice restaurant but very strange lettuce wraps.

I'll give this restaurant another try but I will not get their lettuce wraps again. A plate filled with vegetables and a tiny amount of small pieces of lettuce made it impossible to "wrap" anything. The flavors were good, though. Parking is impossible in their really tiny lot, so give yourself... read more

One of our favorite Thai spots in the metro. Super friendly staff and wonderful food in the heart of West 7th, great neighborhood in St. Paul. We love the curries, the chicken laab, the spring rolls, and the pra ram long song especially. We love the little patio area/outdoor seating too. We have been coming here for years and will... More

My previous go-to Thai restaurant in the Twin Cities closed a couple years ago, and I have been searching for anything that could come close. BINGO! Supatra's met my wish list for really good Thai. I tried a curried duck dish that will definitely bring me back. My lunch companion felt the same about her food. Our service was very... More

What a delight to find this well-run Thai restaurant on West 7th. Delightful staff, delicious food, prompt, friendly service. Ate here twice in one week, it was so good, we brought friends back!

I recommend this place wholeheartedly if you want Thai in the Twin Cities. It was a smaller place than I expected, but we got in quickly on a Saturday eve. Friendly staff, service good, and the food we had was very good. They have a lot of variety on the menu -- some items I've never seen at other Thai... More

We ate here on the recommendation of our Airbnb host and were blown away by it. We ordered 2 noodle dishes: Goy See Mee and Kee Mao and they were both delightful, full of vegetables, tasty sauces and lots of thai basil! Service was prompt and polite, not too much, not too little. It was a Saturday night and they... More

We drive well out of our way to eat at Supatra's. The shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce are fantastic. The curries, pad Thai, everything is authentic and delicious. Hands down my favorite place in all of the Twin Cities.

Because of all the high ratings, I decided to order a dish that most places don't get quite right: Pinapple Fried Rice. It's supposed to have a curry seasoning (different than a curry dish), and while it was indicated on the menu, I couldn't taste it. The carrots and peas were obviously from a bag of frozen vegetables, rather than... More

Great Thai food, nothing fancy, just good food. Nice outdoor patio for these few months we can enjoy it! The spring rolls are really fresh, and we didn't find a bad meal on the menu.

3 of us shared a wonderful lunch on the patio; food was terrific, we asked for food within 20 minutes and we had it in 18. Tried different entrees including curry chicken and egg rolls. Each were excellent. We've had some challenges in the past with slow service so we asked for more rapid service since we each had other... More
