The food was amazing here, there were four in our party and all had sandwiches. The bread was fresh and the meat was top quality. Service was a little slow to come get our order but it was pretty busy toward the end of lunch rush. Will definitely return here to eat.

LOVE the staff. LOVE the sandwiches...my favorite, the Sasha...wow. Also, they do have the best Reuben's around, no doubt.

Marvelous restaurant that is "classic Jewish" in all respeats. We had one of the best Reuben Sandwiches that we have ever had. In addition to the restaurant, there is a 'carry-out deli/bakery with cheeses, meats, salads & pastries. I highly recommend !!

We have visited Cecil's several times and found it to be the best Jewish Deli experience in the Twin Cities. The bakery up front has great items, breads and other traditional fare and the restaurant part in the back is like the old days for me growing up in Detroit and eating at some of the deli's there. Try the... More

Getting through the doors and going to to restroom may be a challenge. Beyond those little inconveniences, the deli, bakery, and restaurant are just plain awesome. Do yourself a favor and order the New York Reuben, or the Cecil's Salad.

I was visiting some family in St Paul this weekend and they suggested "that great jewish deli" they always go to. I'm so glad they did. When you first walk in, it looks like a very popular deli, but in the back are the closely packed tables of the restaurant. From the taste of the Shayna sandwich I had, it's... More

I grew up in the north end of Winnipeg; it was full of 1st generation Jewish, Ukrainian and Polish delis. Cecil's is the only place outside of my old home that matches the experience: decor, small grocery and sandwiches to die for. If you looking for an afternoon meal, this is the place to go.

This deli is just what you would expect from a 50's deli for a reason - it dates back that far. My parents brought me here as a small child in the early 50's. Still the same great deli food - wonderful reuben, outstanding pastry. Take out or eat in in their small restaurant in the back with great service,... More

This is your historical, old-time delicatessen that isnt easily found these days. The bakery is outstanding; their best pastry (in my opinion) are the little folded up pastries that contain almond/cherry/apple/chocolate/poppy and many other options too.....can't remember the name but you'll know them when you see them. The apple strudel's are amazing too and come in a good size, and... More

We have eaten at Cecil’s many times. My wife attend the college right across the street and she tells me nothing has changed and the food is just as good at this Kosher deli as it was back in the late 60’s. Amazing. How many restaurants can say they have been around that long? As a lover of Kosher deli’s... More
