Have been going here for more than 25 years. Best reubens in the Twin Cities - perhaps in Minnesota (no other place I've tried in more than 2 decades comes close). Very good matzo ball soup, fine traditional Jewish cooking and incredible deserts...if you are into that kind of thing. Not a fancy place but food is superb. more
I love cecils. It's like a hidden gem of a place and we go there about once every couple months. For our little family of 3 (2 adults and an 11 year old girl) our bill usually tally's up to around $43-$45 not including the tip so it is a little spendy. That's for 3 entres and 3 drinks. No... more
I was thrilled to discover a real Jewish-style deli right in the heart of St. Paul. The front area of the restaurant is a regular deli and shop, featuring a smattering of packaged food products, plus freshly made Jewish pastries like hamentashen and rugela, and a nice selection of deli meats. Great variety and good taste. A local favorite with the decor of a common kitchen of years ago whick only adds to the experience. more

Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet but purchased some good rye bread and sandwich meat here...hope to go back sometime soon for a meal. more
