We live in the neighbor and hadn’t tired Ceclis until now and man it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the Turkey and Russian Reuben. I requested extra sauerkraut on my sandwich which they did and no extra charge. We ate in and the food came within 10 minutes of ordering. Plenty of meat on both sandwiches and and lots... More

I come here often when someone from out of town is staying with me. I love the atmosphere of this delicatessen. With one exception. I always feel awkward walking through the kitchen to get to the restroom. The you have to traverse a set of stairs into the basement. But, the food is phenomenal and I will always bring out... More

We love Cecil's! Great food, wait staff always pleasant, love the deli vibe. But seriously what is up with the guy who runs around barking at the staff, lecturing, insulting them snd just being rude! Why would anyone work for him? He really wrecks the whole experience.

Finally visited Cecil's. We weren't disappointed. Staff was great. The restaurant is small ( and clean) and this adds to the charm. Large deli menu and the food is very good. The deli's in the front and restaurant behind. They will prepare anything to go. Definitely worth a visit.

A bit loud, a bit rowdy (and that's the staff), a bit cramped - all good! Had the Pastrami on Russian Rye - tasted like I was in NYC. Matzo soup was an ongoing hit.

The food here is always very good. Love the matzo ball soup. I was able to get a half of a corn beef sandwich which was nice for lunch. The corn beef was moist and not dried out. It is always busy but service is fast so the turnover is quick and not a long wait. They also have a... More

I have been going to Cecil's for 30 years and the food is always good. While they are always busy for breakfast and lunch, dinner is usually quiet. There is always many servers taking care of one table. The food is really good and the soup is great. A half of sandwich will surprise you by the size so if... More

Great sandwiches- ask about the Sasha for breakfast with a whole order of latkes on the side. They might do it for you. Holidays are always busy so avoid disappointment and future regret - order ahead. Chicken soup is medicinal. The toffee cookies, when available, are some of the best around.
