A restaurant that has been operating since 1933 must have some things going for it. On the plus side, this is a pleasant dining room, and the service is very attentive. The dining room is a little dark but not gloomy. Prices are quite reasonable and portions are large (see attached picture of chicken parm). One of us had sausage,... More

Authentic, great food, large portions, and very affordable! This place has been here since 1933, and has been one of the best in town. Skip the fancy, crafty Italian restaurants, and go to where the sauce tells all! I had a dinner for three ( one child) for $40, and we brought home plenty in boxes. Tortelloni Boglanese was outstanding!

We attended a wedding reception dinner at this restaurant. The room easily accommodated the crowd. Food was served buffet style and was excellent. Staff was fast, efficient and very helpful. There is plenty of free parking and easily accessible from downtown St Paul. I would not hesitate to return here in the future for a regular meal.

Degidio's has been the place over the past few years in St. Paul to go for Lunch,if you want a nice quiet meal that's fantastic. While I've been hooked on the Porketta for Lunch, and my Wife on the Pizza Fries, we have yet to get a meal beyond those items that is short of great. Old School Italian, and good at... More

DeGidio's has its own parking lot in an otherwise crowded area. Go early for dinner (4pm) as the place gets really busy after 5 on a Saturday evening. I ordered the strawberry salad with grilled chicken and no dressing (very tasty). You get plenty of warm, fresh baked bread with your meal. My two buddies each had the filet and they... More

Excellent service! Good food, however, Juicy Lucia was underdone and cheese was barely melted but had great flavor. Half price wine was a special treat.

We had a very nice end of the season soccer dinner and awards program herethat was very successful. The pasta and meetballs were very good and the food plentiful for our private buffett. Hadn't been here in probably 10 years and had forgotten how good the food was. Will need to get back there more often.

Good family restaurant. Haven't had any food that we didn't enjoy and the portions are quite large. The bread and pizza sticks are great as mentioned by others.. Gets crowded around dinner time especially on the weekend. Service my last visit was much improved over the first time. But in any case the wait is worth it.

It is not an insult, it is sandwich they ate on and around the trains during the late 1800s, and they are best eaten sloppy! They have daily specials, but any menu item is worth trying. It is family friendly and they do not charge a plate splitting fee when splitting with children.
