we went for the lunch buffet. you get some choices, not much for variety. the pasta and meatballs aren't great sadly...the pizza is only okay. I make better pizza and red sauce myself, which isn't what you go out for. Not super expensive, so i guess that's a plus

For over 70 years, four generations of my family members have enjoyed Yarusso's. The flavor of their sauce is unique and addicting. The staff treats us like family and goes out of their way to make sure our every need is met. From the small spaghetti to a half and half to meatball dinner to my mouthwatering crave-inducing sloppy dago... More

Went this week for rib nite. Arrived at 6:15. The place was almost empty however all the tables were soiled with dirty dishes, used glasses and crumbs. Finally found the only clean booth. The waitress arrived and never did greet us or introduce herself. Took our order and served my beer in a brandy snifter, totally inappropriate. Our food finally... More

So there is nothing fancy or unusual here...just standard pastas with red or white sauce. If you come with that expectation, you will do okay. I suspect that lots of customers who are nostalgic East siders will love this neighborhood joint. Portions are huge and large enough to share. The poor server was working really hard but it was understaffed...... More

Worst Italian food I have ever had. Even Bucas tastes better than this place and there food is plain. Had better canned pasta than this place. Their service was ok. Would never eat there again even if my life depends on it. Even my daughters who loves spaghetti couldn't eat their spaghetti after just two bites they didn't want to... More

Trip to Yarusso's for family get-together. Very noisy - made it hard to talk. Overhead music was 50's style, would have been better to have some relaxing "italian" music so as not to compete with all the human voices. I ordered the meatball dinner which was a great deal - 4 large meatballs in sauce with a side of spaghetti... More

Time goes by when you are having fun or even if you are not. I have eaten here many times over the years and I had thought that I had reviewed this restaurant but alas I had not. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. Yarusso doesn't make very good pizza. They have never made very good... More

Had a family dinner and was great value - 6 adults all for under $100. The food was good; however not the best Italian we've had. Definitely prefer Vescio's lasagna over Yarusso's, but it was good. The ravioli was also good, however I would not recommend the cannoli for dessert; the shell was very hard and just crumbled apart. Also,... More

Just looking some some good Italian and we really found it. The armosphere is good and the food must be great if the place is really busy at 8pm on a Sunday night. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back.

We visited on a Friday night and made arrangements to meet our son from Minneapolis. We all were provided with our drinks and menus right away. We ordered shortly after even though the place was clearly busy. I ordered baked mostacciolli, my husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs, and our son had cheese ravioli with meatballs. The portions were more than... More
