unique style is great Saint Paul neighborhood

Such a unique style. The authentic Russian food and vodka drinks are a must to experience. I recommend the Moscow Mule or the Martini with Horseradish vodka - my favorite every time!

I visited Moscow on the Hill with my wife and another couple. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table since we had a reservation. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. I got the impression from our server that this is a fun place to... More

Food: borscht, black bread, pelmeni, vareneki, Russian tea (black tea) Took my wife and daughter here on a Saturday for lunch. Started with a cup of borscht and black bread. The borscht was excellent, and a good size as an appetizer, not so big that you're full for the main meal. Serving size for the pelmeni and vareneki was much... More

Since we have not visited this restaurant form a while, we decided to have our Sunday lunch here. The restaurant was empty - having one more couple besides us. The horrible new Russian music shlager was in air. However the lovely waitress has turned it off. I have borsch and pelmeny. They were very good. My party, she had cold... More

Directly across the street from the elegant W.A. Frost, the perfect place for dinner there and lunch here, if you can eat and eat and eat. And drink!!! The decor is beautiful and menu pure gourmet. If you like Vodka, you may never want to leave this great place.

The food and the drinks were amazing. I loved trying all the different vodkas and food knocked my Sox off....can't wait to go back. Service was great and I loved the atmosphere.

Came here recently for dinner with friends. Parking is very limited so I would suggest car pooling if possible. Otherwise there was valet available. We sat on the back patio which was very comfortable. It's a pretty area, and they have some awnings to keep you out of full sun. The menu in my opinion was a little limited, and... More

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and met with family (two other couples). The restaurant looks unassuming from the outside, but you're guaranteed to have a fantastic meal. The inside has a nice atmosphere in the lounge/bar area but the dining room is pretty average. Our party was seated on the patio at our request, which... More

We were visiting from South Carolina and wanted to try something we could not get at home. Moscow on the Hill is definitely that place. The food was wonderful from the Moscow Fries to the White Russian Tiramisu for desert and everything in between. The Czar's Medallions were superb and prepared perfectly. The Peasant Pelmeni was great. My wife said... More

I don't really know what Russian food is, but I guess vodka is a big part of it. I don't drink, so a Russian restaurant has to make me like it even if I will be having no Vodka. I've been here twice, and I don't remember much about the first visit because it was so long ago, but everything... More
