Sushi, apps and meal were all very tasty. We were very happy with the vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere. Not the best service ever, but server was friendly.

This was our first time here. The food was all very delicious. There wasn't anything that we ate that we did not like. The one component that tarnished it was the poor service. They weren't busy with customers but with other things. Also, our bill had an error, an extra charge that we pointed out. It was fixed but it... More

We reserved a tapennaki table last weekend. Well, we got stuck in traffic looking at a Christmas light show and would not make our reservation in time. I called them to see if we could move our reservation back. They were quite pleasant about the change. When we arrived earlier than our new reservation time they got our table ready... More

You can't go wrong with either side. The Teppanyaki chefs are entertaining and all the food is terrific.

We were actually looking for another restaurant, when we found parking outside Saji-Ya. We decided to give it a try and had one of the best meals of our recent vacation. The food was excellent, the service was good, and the place we were seated out on the balcony made for a very relaxing dining experience.

Had lunch sushi sampler. I have had better from supermarkets unfortunately. It was monday so maybe that is why the prawn was so bad? Don't know how often they would get fresh fish. Service was good apart from alien hair on the hot towel. Miso was fine. The salad was good but not very Japanese.

Loved this place! Laid back, yet great service. Would recommend any friend to go! The elevated outdoor seating was also cool being that you could look out at Grand Ave :)

Having been to every sushi joint in the Twin Cities Saji Ya stil rates at the top of my list. With classic favorites from the sushi to edamame to the originals that you can only find at Saji Ya, this is a must for sushi lovers. The only negative is they need to open the patio up on all nice... More

The food at Saji-Ya is always fresh and delicious. I have never been disappointed. I have always visited during dinner but I hear they have really good lunch specials. If you reserve it ahead of time you can sit upstairs on outdoor patio or upstairs at the Tappanyaki tble and have the food cooked in front of you. Highly recommended.... More
