Outstanding Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian food, and if you're just visiting, yes, it's not within walking distance of any hotel in either Minneapolis or St. Paul. And it's nothing fancy. And it's not exactly right for a business lunch or big gathering. So why make the trip? You like great food. Promise - you won't be disappointed.

Last time my mums and and I stayed in the cities we ate here. I have many friends from Nepal and have tasted many authentic Nepali dishes, this is an excellent place to sample their exotic cuisine. My husband loved the yak stuffed Momo's.

This is for the adventurous. They have lamb, goat, yak and chicken for meat dishes but do have a variety of vegan too. Will most definitely come back.

My wife and I visited with my brother and his wife after Summit Brewery tour and was just the ticket for relaxing meal not far off Snelling Ave. A bit hard to find parking but once around the block gave us on-street parking close by. The food was fresh, spiced flavorfully, seasoned hot enough for those that wanted it hot.... More

When my SIL told me she had found a place that she thought was better than India Palace I had to check it out. I was sooo disappointed! Not only is it super expensive ($14 for Tikka Masala), but it was runny and not as flavorful as IP. Not only that, but the portion size was meager and I was... More

Lamb and Chicken masala lovely meal. This place never changes and is always great quality food and service. Plus, sat at the table with my friend's picture of Everest Mt. hanging on the wall. Their Keer is the best I have ever had to finish the meal off.

The goat curry and the Yak momo we superb. Homey kind of place, service was good, food was very good. Can be pricey if you don't ask the price of the combo dinner. Would definitely go back.

Everest is a staple for me. Don't miss the aloo achar as an appetizer / side dish. My favorite entree is the Choyyla with either pork or lamb. They will make it to your desired spice level - which for me can be quite hot. Flavors are amazing. Lunch buffet is of course not as good as the made to... More

We've eaten here several times; always had good meals. The MoMo's are de riguer (as they say in the Himalayas ;-). They seem to show some Cinese dumpling ancestry. The rest of the menu is local variations on Indian cuisine: curries, tandoor dishes, naan and roti. We had an excellent potato and eggplant curry, served at just the heat level... More
