We've been to the Grill many times and it's probably one of the best meals in the Twin Cities. The staff is always friendly and the food is wonderful (their desserts are also to die for!). The perfect spot for your next special occasion. We're already looking forward to returning!

We had two meals here when we enjoyed the St Paul winter carnival. My husband and I shared the Lobster roll which was excellent, we also shared the Chicken Pot Pie. We enjoyed that too, but we both thought it was to rich, yes, there is a thing as too much cream. We would have enjoyed it more had it... More

It was cozy like a fine New York restaurant in the heart of downtown St. Paul. The chicken pot pie was outstanding. This had been recommended to me if I was ever able to eat at the Grill. We had excellent service and a wonderful lunch. A very special place.

For a business or personal lunch. Light streams in from the windows facing Rice Park. Service is knowledgeable and attentive and experienced. The homemade fresh cut fries are perfect not too crisp or too mealy. Try their signature dishes they all stand out and you can tell they take pride in their food. I had a simple chicken grilled sandwich... More

You will not be disappointed here! The food is high quality! Crab cake, filet mignon, rib eye, chicken pot pie, au gratin potatoes, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts were all delicious! Plus the bread basket that is set out when you arrive. I believe it had 4 varieties. This place is definitely spendy but worth it. A treat for sure! I... More

With white tablecloths, dark wood and exceptional service, the St. Paul Grill is a great place to take clients, your parents, or anyone else you want to impress. The food is great. It's a hangout for politicians from the nearby Capitol, a venerable institution that never got stale. You won't regret going here.

Cannot go to Saint Paul and not here about the Saint Paul Hotel or The St. Paul Grill. Being from Minnesota, this one of the best places to go to get food and drinks. Service is always amazing. I ate two full meals here and one late night snack in the bar. At lunch the Cream of Minnesota Wild Rice soup, a local speciality was delicious and hit the spot on a cold winter's day. Also had the Market Street grilled chicken sandwich with thick-cut bacon, Swiss and Cheddar on grilled ciabatta (swapped out the Sriracha Mayo for... More

There is a reason St Paul Grill is considered the best restaurant in MN, because it is. The steaks are always awesome the salads and chicken noodle soup are also awesome. Yes, it is a bit expensive but for the amount of food you get, it is not a bad deal. Bring your friends and share any of the sides... More
