If your in St Paul, go for breakfast at Mickeys Diner. A small traditional diner you'll have all the normal food options you'd expect. Watch the prepare your food, and cop a bit of sass from the waitress. A good photo opportunity outside of the diner also.

Don't miss a chance to eat at Mickey's Diner. Small, the chef is an arms lengths away, the quantity of food incredible, and the prices are good. It's an experience that you won't have on just any day of life, unless you live in downtwon St Paul of course.

Mickey's Diner is an institution in St Paul MN - very good food at reasonable prices. We had breakfast on Sat 1/10/2015 before attending the Sportsman show. Certainly filled us up so no need to purchase food at the show. We sat at the bar right in front of the entrance -- a bit chilly but knew that is what... More

Although I have never been a big fun of burgers, due to several recommendations from friends and the popularity of the diner, I decided to go with my partner. We were at the St. Paul Winter Carnival, and it seemed like a great opportunity to finally try one of the famous burgers. The diner is small and cozy, and you... More

This is our "go to" place for a quick, satisfying meal at a great price. Friendly staff and fun to watch the cook! "Cheers" without the booze - as staff and patrons get to know each other over the many years. The waffles and omelets are a "must-try". We often pay if forward here too - usually find an individual... More

This is a rite of passage, a greasy spoon like no other. Great people watching. Set in an old train car. It is a historic landmark now and unfortunately is squashed up to a sky scraper now but still worth a visit. It is just part of St. Paul.

Me and party of 5 had breakfast here at Mickey's Diner and we all enjoyed the food and friendly workers. The portions are huge and the was awesome. Mind you it's a small place to eat as we all sat on stools next to each other but had a wonderful time. Next time in the area we plan on visiting... More

Saw excellent reviews on this diner and as we like to eat where locals eat, we thought we'd try it. Went for breakfast and were not disappointed. I'm not sure what people mean by it being a "cultural experience" but it is what I expected it to be as it is located in an old diner car. Don't expect to... More

Stopped in before a MN Wild game for an early dinner. Food was good and it was a neat experience to eat in an old icon like this. Staff very friendly!

I've known about this place for many years but just ate here for the first time at the invitation of my cousin who makes it a point to go to Mickey's when she comes to the city. It was a fun "cultural experience" with great food. The fish and chips with slaw was awesome! Best ever. We were at the... More
