Food was Good Service can be improved

We were a special party and a room had been reserved. The food was well prepared, and I especially liked the family style serving of vegetables-two plentiful servings of asparagus and brussel sprouts. The steak and chicken were cooked well, and well sauced. My only criticism would be the wait... read more

We like it so much we never bring the children, even though they are in their twenties, let them splurge in their own way , with their own age, this is for the gourmet diner celebrating! We go every year on our anniversary.

My husband and I went here for the Happy Hour on a fairly high stress day. We were seated on the front patio (along the road) and much to our surprise, there was very little traffic. Although there were a couple of boisterous groups on the porch (behind us) it was fairly relaxing. The house wine is good, served in... More

Celebrated our 3rd Anniversary here and decided to return for our 41st. The ambience is everything we remembered, cocktails were good, nice wine selection. Menu is smaller than some restaurants but taste and presentation were good. Kitchen was slow but we were not in a hurry. We celebrated with another couple and tried various appetizers, entrees and desserts. Flavor and... More

Went for happy hour in the bar area and tried a few appetizers. Prices are spendy for the European-style fare. Service was fabulous at this Minnesota institution.

This was very unique. Food was nice a little cramped for sitting but enjoyed the environment and location as well as the feel. Well worth the experience!

We stop in for a light bite and a glass of wine for happy hour. We were seated in the Parlor on the main floor in front of the wood burning fireplace. It was warm and cozy, on a chilly day. The wine was delicious the small bites on the happy hour menu in the bar were perfect. The happiest... More

I first went to Forepaugh's hoping for a glimpse of Molly (the resident spirit). Since then I am a semi regular. Why? You ask? The cheese curds changed my life. Deep fried cheese is great but when paired with chili lime glaze... They among wine, beer, flatbread (also delish), baked goat cheese, etc... Are offered at more than fair prices... More

We went for brunch last Sunday and will be back! It's on the semi-pricey end of brunch to most people at $23, but it does include a lot...and it's all amazing. You receive a complimentary Mimosa, OJ, etc. There are four dishes that are served endless family style: scrambled eggs, potatoes, meats and Eggs Benedict. The eggs were wonderful, but... More

I've wanted to eat here for many years and finally had my chance on January 31. We enjoyed everything about our experience: great atmosphere, excellent service, and our Beef Wellington and New York Strip were melt in your mouth delicious. We usually share a dessert and opted for the "Forepaugh's Classic"- Deconstructed Banana Cream Pie. This was one item that... More
